Good morning, 12s.

Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Monday, July 15 – about your Seattle Seahawks:

Tickets On Sale Now

The time has come in which the Seattle Sports Commission hosts its annual luncheon for the Pacific Northwest Football Hall of Fame. This year, three integral members of the Seattle Seahawks organization will be inducted into the 2019 class.

Seahawks Legend Shaun Alexander will be inducted for his accomplishments on the field and setting a plethora of franchise records. The former running back continues to be very involved with the League and its initiatives.

Late head coach and Ring of Honor member Chuck Knox is being recognized for his dedication and devotion to the team. Along with being a four-time NFL Coach of the Year, Knox led the team to the franchise's first-ever postseason appearance, totaling four playoff appearances in his nine seasons at the helm.

Last, but certainly not least, Vice President of Community Outreach Mike Flood is to be inducted for all of the time and effort put into the organization over his 22 years with the team. Flood joined the Seahawks' staff in 1997 and has led numerous community initiatives to make an impact in Seattle and beyond. He also served in the Coast Guard for 20 years and was awarded the Outstanding Service to Veterans award in 2012 from the Washington Department of Veterans Affairs.

The annual luncheon "commemorates the careers of the region's greatest gridiron legends. From Drew Bledsoe, to Don James, to Steve Largent, to Paul Allen, this event has honored 216 prominent Pacific Northwest leaders who left an impact on the game of football forever."

The event is set for July 25 at CenturyLink Field, beginning with a reception at 11:00 a.m. that leads directly into the lunch and ceremony at noon.

Tickets for fans to attend are on sale now, just follow the link to register here. This is surely an honorable event that you will not want to miss, so I recommend signing up as quickly as possible.
