Pick: Tyler Booker, OL, Alabama
"The interior of Seattle's offensive line needs immediate help, and it was between Booker and North Dakota State's Grey Zabel here. Booker lacks Zabel's versatility, but the Alabama product can be a slobberknocker right away in the run game. There still should be a solid receiver available at 50 or 52."
Pick: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
"Trading DK Metcalf away opened a spot in Seattle for a big receiver like McMillan, who can win in the short and intermediate areas, as well as in the red zone. He would be a great final piece for this rebuilt receiver group, with Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Cooper Kupp joining 2023 first-rounder Jaxon Smith-Njigba."
Proposed Mock Trade: Moving up two spots to No. 16 in the first round, trading places with the Arizona Cardinals
Pick: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
"If the Colts hadn't spent so many recent draft resources on receivers, McMillan would be in Indy. Seattle knows Cards GM Monti Ossenfort loves to trade back, and Seattle has the capital to move up a couple picks with the division rival to get a much-needed receiver."
Pick: Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas
"An offensive lineman like North Dakota State's Grey Zabel would make a lot of sense here, too, but Barron is simply too good a value at this spot. His ability to play both on the outside and in the slot, and the fact that he earned an 83.4 PFF run-defense grade to go along with a 91.1 PFF coverage grade in 2024, would allow him to contribute right away in Seattle."
Pick: Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
"The Seahawks are entering the Sam Darnold-Cooper Kupp era after trading Geno Smith and DK Metcalf. Jaxon Smith-Njigba had a breakout sophomore season, but the team would still like another perimeter pass catcher and better interior offensive linemen. Golden would settle the former with his consistent hands, wide catch radius and 4.29 speed. He's a well-rounded route runner who emerged as the WR1 for Texas last season, finishing with 1,272 all-purpose yards (987 receiving)."
Pick: Grey Zabel, OL, North Dakota State
"Seattle has had an interesting offseason, but they still have work to do along the offensive line when it comes to building out players who will still be around for the long term. Grey Zabel profiles as a great fit in Klint Kubiak's offense and would give them a much-needed boost at wherever they need him to play — anywhere from left guard to right tackle."
Pick: Grey Zabel, OL, North Dakota State
"The Seahawks have needs almost everywhere on the offensive line and Zabel, as luck would have it, plays almost everywhere on the offensive line. The North Dakota State product looks incredibly clean from almost anywhere and doesn't seem fazed when all the action is thrown at him via stunts and games."
Pick: Grey Zabel, OL North Dakota State
"After not doing much to address the offensive line in free agency, the Seahawks will be hunting for interior offensive linemen in the first few rounds. A college left tackle, Zabel is an above-average athlete for 312 pounds and has crushed every step of the draft process. He's secured a spot in the top 32."
