Following Super Bowl LVIII this Sunday featuring the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, the 2024 NFL offseason will officially be underway. After several coaching hires across the league, here are what the experts believe the Seahawks will do with pick No.16 in April's draft.

16. Seattle Seahawks: Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia

More offensive weaponry for Geno Smith. This is nice value for such a complete, dynamic tight end prospect.

16. Seattle Seahawks: Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas

It will be interesting to learn what new head coach Mike Macdonald envisions for this team. Where does he see weakness on the roster? Defensive tackle is one spot the team could address.

No. 16: Dallas Turner, LB, Alabama

I would love to give the Seahawks a tackle/guard with good toughness and above-average run-blocking ability in Troy Fautanu, but I can't see them passing on a pass-rush talent like Turner here.

16. Dallas Turner, LB, Alabama

The Seahawks appear to be rounding out one of the better rosters in the NFL. With this pick, the Seahawks add another edge rusher to the rotation, giving Seattle a good young core for the future.

16. Troy Fautanu, OT, Washington

The most glaring need for Seattle is along the interior of the offensive line, and they shouldn't have to look far for the ideal player to fill it. Fautanu starred for the nearby Huskies at left tackle, but he could be even more dominant at the next level if he slides inside to guard.

16. Jared Verse, DE, Florida State

With Mike Macdonald now coaching the Seattle Seahawks you can expect the Seahawks to target a certain style of player to fit into his defense.

Jared Verse is an ideal fit in Macdonald's system. He can rush from multiple spots while being a quality run defender. Folks around the league rave about Verse's toughness, and his play on the field is just as impressive.

With the hiring of Mike Macdonald as the next head coach of the Seattle Seahawks, take a look back at his career. Macdonald spent nine of the past ten seasons on the Baltimore Ravens coaching staff serving as a defensive assistant.
