Friday's Injury Report

The Seahawks have a relatively brief final injury report, as would be expected coming off of a bye week, with two players ruled out due to injury, safety Marquise Blair, and linebacker Cody Barton, who has a quadricep injury. Blair is out for the season with a knee injury that required surgery, and will likely end up on injured before Sunday's game to make room on the roster with Russell Wilson and Dee Eskridge both expected back from injured reserve.

Barton, one of Seattle's top special teams players, has a quadricep injury that kept him out of practice all week.

Reserve cornerback Bless Austin is also out, though for a personal matter, not an injury. Starting defensive tackle Al Woods is listed as questionable though for a non-injury personal matter, and Seahawks coach Carroll said he will make the trip with the team.

The Packers got All-Pro David Bakhtiari back on the practice field this week after starting the year on the PUP list, but he is listed as doubtful. Also doubtful is starting defensive lineman Kingsley Keke (concussion) while starting defensive lineman Kenny Clark is questionable with a back injury. Starting cornerback Eric Stokes is questionable with a knee injury, though he was a full participant in practice.

Thursday's Injury Report

Linebacker and special teams standout Cody Barton missed his second straight day with a quadricep injury, putting his availability for Sunday in question. Also out Thursday was receiver DK Metcalf, though he has been getting Thursdays off for several weeks to rest his foot injury, and it has not affected his game availability. Running back Alex Collins was limited with a groin injury for the second straight day, while tackle Jamarco Jones went from limited participation a day earlier to full participation.

For the Packers, All-Pro tackle David Bakhtiari, who was activated from the PUP list this week, was limited.

Wednesday's Injury Report

As expected for a team coming off of its bye week, the Seahawks had a relatively brief injury report Wednesday, with only two players listed as non-participants due to injury, one of whom, Marquise Blair, is out for the season with a knee injury, but has not yet been placed on injured reserve. The other non-participant was linebacker Cody Barton, who has a quadricep injury. If that turns out to be an issue in terms of his availability for Sunday, that would affect not just Seattle's linebacker depth, but also their special teams play, as Barton is one of the Seahawks' best players on special teams, particularly on coverage units.

Two players were listed as limited, tackle Jamarco Jones (ankle) and running back Alex Collins (groin).

Not included on the injury report are players returning to practice this week from injured reserve: quarterback Russell Wilson, running back Chris Carson, receiver Dee Eskridge and cornerback Nigel Warrior. Players not on the 53-man roster are not included on the injury report, and while those players would have to be added to the roster to play on Sunday, for now they are allowed to practice without occupying a roster spot. Carroll did give updates on Wilson, Carson and Eskridge prior to Wednesday’s practice, including stating that Wilson will be able practice without limitations this week.

The Packers had one player listed as a non-participant, tight end Dominique Dafney, and five players listed as limited, but the biggest question mark for Green Bay this week is not injury related, but rather the status of quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is on the COVID-19 list and not eligible to return until Saturday at the soonest.
