Wednesday Round-Up: Tyler Lockett Ranked No. 24 On CBS Sports' List Of Top 30-Or-Over Players

Cody Benjamin of CBS Sports ranks the top 30 NFL players aged 30 or older ahead of the 2023 season.

RoundUp 080223

Good afternoon, 12s. Here's a look at what's out there today – Wednesday, August 2 – about your Seattle Seahawks.

Tyler Lockett Ranked Among the Top 30 of NFL Veteran Players

Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett is in his ninth season in the NFL and that saying couldn't be truer -- he's gotten better with time. Among other broken records and stats through his career, in the 2022 season, Lockett recorded his fourth straight 1,000-yard season. He also holds the franchise record with his 100 receptions in the 2020 season. Benjamin refers to Lockett as "Mr. Reliable."

Position:WR | Team:Seahawks | Age:30

He's never had the gaudy heights of the game's most feared pass catchers, but Lockett has long been Mr. Reliable in Seattle, fresh off his fourth straight 1,000-yard season opposite DK Metcalf.

Lockett will turn 31 a few days after the Seahawks home game against the Carolina Panthers. Taking into consideration his last few seasons, Seahawks fans can still expect a great deal of productivity from him.
