Wednesday Practice Report: Mike Davis, Shaquill Griffin Return

Two players whose injuries forced them to miss practice all last week and kept them from seeing the field during this past Sunday’s game against the 49ers were back working out to start Week 13 for the Seahawks. Running back Mike Davis (groin) and cornerback Shaquill Griffin (concussion) practiced in limited fashion on Wednesday at Virginia Mason Athletic Center, reinforcing what Seattle head coach Pete Carroll said would be the case in regards to Davis’ status earlier in the afternoon.

Eleven Seahawks did not participate in Wednesday’s practice, nine of whom were out because of injuries. Safety Kam Chancellor (neck), who Carroll has already said won’t play again this season, was sidelined alongside offensive linemen Oday Aboushi (shoulder) and Duane Brown (ankle), tight ends Jimmy Graham (ankle) and Luke Willson (concussion), linebackers D.J. Alexander (shoulder), Josh Forrest (foot), and Bobby Wagner (hamstring), as well as defensive end Dion Jordan (neck). Of that group, it’s worth noting Brown, Graham, and Wagner all sat out multiple days of practice last week, but were all able to play in the win at San Francisco.

For the Eagles, middle linebacker Joe Walker (neck) was the lone non-participant at Wednesday’s workout.

Here’s Wednesday’s practice report for both sides:
