The Seahawks will have starting right cornerback Tre Flowers for Sunday's game against the Saints despite an ankle injury sustained in Thursday's practice. Flowers was held out of practice Friday and was listed as questionable on the injury report, but went through a pregame workout that indicated he was good to go.

Rashaad Penny, who also is dealing with an injury from practice this week, will not play, however. Penny, who had a 37-yard touchdown run in last week's win in Pittsburgh, injured his hamstring in practice Friday and was also listed as questionable.

Penny's injury likely means an increased role for C.J. Prosise behind starting running back Chris Carson.

"C.J. is ready to go," Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Friday. "He has been practicing great. He has done well when we put him in. He can't wait to get more reps. So if he gets a chance to play, we won't even hesitate to have him mix into all that. He'll go right with the guys."

As expected, defensive end Ziggy Ansah is active, meaning he'll make his Seahawks debut after being held out of the first two games of the season.

"Ziggy's ready to play," Carroll said. "Ready to play football. We're excited to see that. It has been a really good process to get him to this where he's in good shape too. He's worked hard and long, so he's in better shape than sometimes when a guy is just coming back. We'll be able to get him a bunch of plays here in this game, and we're looking forward to his participation with us."

Also active are starting defensive tackle Poona Ford, who missed last week's game with a calf injury, and receiver David Moore, who missed Seattle's first two games with a fracture in his humerus bone.

Out due to injury are safety Tedric Thompson (hamstring), cornerback Neiko Thorpe (hamstring), and center/guard Ethan Pocic (neck).
