Thursday Practice Report: Strong Safety Kam Chancellor, Tight End Jimmy Graham Sidelined For Seahawks

The Seahawks held practice inside Virginia Mason Athletic Center on Thursday as the team prepares for the Arizona Cardinals.

The Seahawks' second practice report of Week 7 includes a few noteworthy changes from Wednesday's report

Tight end Jimmy Graham (knee/hip) and linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis (ankle) were added to the team's did not participate list on Thursday. The hip injury is new for Graham, while the ankle injury for Pierre-Louis, who practiced in full yesterday, could be related to the setback Seattle head coach Pete Carroll mentioned earlier this week, when he said Pierre-Louis "tweaked his ankle" in the team's Week 6 win against the Atlanta Falcons.

Strong safety Kam Chancellor (groin), meanwhile, sat for a second day in a row. Chancellor, who got hurt in practice last week and missed this past weekend's game as a result, was called "day to day" by Carroll on Wednesday. Also of note for the Seahawks is that rookie defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson (thumb), who had surgery during the bye week, was a limited participant on Thursday after working out in full on Wednesday.

For the Cardinals, who Seattle faces on Sunday Night Football this week at Glendale's University of Phoenix Stadium, quarterback Carson Palmer (hamstring) was limited after sitting out to rest on Wednesday. According to AZCardinals.com reporter Darren Urban, no new information on Palmer was available Thursday, but on Wednesday Arizona head coach Bruce Arians said Palmer will "be fine" for gameday.
