Shaquill Griffin, Luke Willson & Ziggy Ansah Inactive For Seahawks' Week 15 Game at Carolina

All three Seahawks who were listed as questionable for Sunday’s game are inactive.

CHARLOTTE—The Seahawks will be without several key players due to injury for Sunday's game against the Panthers, including three who were considered game-day decisions.

Cornerback Shaquill Griffin (hamstring), tight end Luke Willson (hamstring) and defensive end Ziggy Ansah (neck) were all listed as questionable on Friday's injury report, and all three are inactive.

The Seahawks are also without defensive Jadeveon Clowney (core/illness) and Mychal Kendricks (hamstring), who were ruled out on Friday. Without Clowney and Ansah, the Seahawks will rely on a defensive end rotation of Quinton Jefferson, Rasheem Green, Branden Jackson and L.J. Collier, as well as linebacker Shaquem Griffin, who has taken on a pass-rushing role in recent weeks.

Akeem King is the likely replacement for Griffin at cornerback, and the Seahawks also will have Ryan Neal active as another option for cornerback depth. Neal was promoted off of the practiced squad earlier this week.

Ethan Pocic is active after being activated off of injured reserve on Saturday. With Jordan Roos inactive, Pocic will be the backup center behind Joey Hunt. Also active is rookie receiver John Ursua, who previously had suited up for only one other game, Seattle's Week 2 win at Pittsburgh.
