The Seahawks signed seven undrafted rookie free agents on Friday prior to kicking off their rookie minicamp.
Seattle's undrafted rookie class includes three edge players, outside linebackers Devean Deal from TCU, Aidan Hubbard from Northwestern, Marvin Jones Jr. from Oklahoma, adding to a position group the Seahawks did not address in the draft; a pair of receivers, Cal Poly's Michael Briscoe and Kansas' Levi Wentz; one tight end, Wisconsin's Lance Mason; and one nose tackle, Kansas State's Uso Seumalo.
Michael Briscoe, WR, Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, 6-2, 209
COLLEGE: Played in 23 career games (2020-24), recording 35 receptions for 787 yards and seven touchdowns while also contributing as a rusher and passer. His most productive season came in 2024, appearing in 11 games with 25 receptions for 538 yards and four touchdowns, ranking among the FCS leaders in yards per reception (21.5 avg.) and posting a career-high 108 receiving yards against Northern Colorado. Also added a rushing touchdown, a 50-yard rush, and a 22-yard touchdown pass. Played in six games in 2023, totaling eight receptions for 192 yards and three touchdowns, including 124 yards against Sacramento State. Missed the 2022 season due to injury after appearing in two games in 2020 (spring 2021), catching two passes for 57 yards while preserving a redshirt.
PERSONAL: Finished his high school career at Vacaville High School under head coach Mike Papadopoulos, recording 37 tackles (24 solo) and 23 receptions for 742 yards and six touchdowns as a senior while also adding two interceptions, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery, helping lead the Bulldogs to an 8-3 record, Monticello Empire League title and CIF-Sac-Joaquin Section Division II playoff appearance. Earned first-team All-Monticello Empire League honors at cornerback and wide receiver and was named league Back of the Year. As a junior, posted 26 tackles (18 solo) with six interceptions and earned first-team all-league honors at cornerback. Also played basketball as a freshman and chose Cal Poly over Weber State and Dixie State.
Devean Deal, LB, Texas Christian, 6-2, 251
COLLEGE: Played in 58 career games (2021-25), totaling 173 tackles, 37.5 tackles for loss and 13 sacks while also contributing multiple forced fumbles, recoveries and defensive touchdowns. His most productive season came in 2025 at TCU, where he started every game and recorded 53 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks, including a scoop-and-score in the season opener against North Carolina. In 2024, led TCU with 9.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks while finishing with 46 tackles and earning Defensive MVP honors in the New Mexico Bowl. Began his TCU career after transferring from Tulane, where he posted 40 tackles and 12 tackles for loss in 2023, and 31 tackles with 3.5 TFLs in 2022 as a redshirt freshman. Appeared in three games in 2021 as a true freshman, recording three tackles and a sack.
PERSONAL: Finished his high school career at Naaman Forest High School, earning consensus three-star prospect honors from ESPN, Rivals and 247Sports. Ranked among the Top 250 prospects in Texas and the No. 55 tight end in the state by ESPN, while also being listed as the No. 4 tight end in the Dallas Morning News SportsDayHS Top 100. Totaled over 1,200 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns in his prep career, including seven touchdowns as a sophomore, helping lead Naaman Forest to a 6-1 district record.
Aidan Hubbard, LB, Northwestern, 6-4, 259
COLLEGE: Started 26 of 47 games played at Northwestern (2021-25). As a graduate student in 2025, started all 11 games and recorded 28 tackles, 10.0 tackles for loss and a career-high 7.5 sacks, finishing as the No. 5 all-time sack leader in program history with 20.5 career sacks. Started 12 games in 2024, totaling 33 tackles with a team-high six sacks and seven TFLs, earning All-Big Ten Honorable Mention. Played in all 13 games in 2023, recording 27 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and a team-high six sacks, highlighted by a three-sack performance against Maryland. Appeared in 11 games with three starts in 2022, totaling 17 tackles and one sack. Redshirted in 2021.
PERSONAL: Three-star recruit who verbally committed to Northwestern in May 2020, ranked as the No. 61 outside linebacker nationally and No. 42 player in Ohio by 247Sports. Led his team in tackles as both a junior (40.5 tackles, eight TFLs, six sacks) and senior (40 tackles, 10 TFLs, three sacks in seven games), earning two-time All-State and first-team all-district honors. Also an honor roll student.
Marvin Jones Jr., LB, Oklahoma, 6-5, 245
COLLEGE: Played in 49 career games with Georgia (2022-23), Florida State (2024) and Oklahoma (2025), making 19 starts and totaling 62 tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss and 8.0 sacks. As a senior at Oklahoma in 2025, started nine of 13 games and recorded 21 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks, including a sack in the CFP First Round vs. Alabama. Started nine games at Florida State in 2024, totaling 25 tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss and 4.0 sacks while tying for the team lead in sacks. Played in 12 games with one start at Georgia in 2023, recording 12 tackles and 4.0 tackles for loss, and appeared in 13 games in 2022, totaling four tackles and one sack while contributing to the Bulldogs' CFP championship run.
PERSONAL: Attended American Heritage High School under coach Pat Surtain and was a consensus top national prospect, ranked as high as No. 13 overall by Rivals, No. 20 by 247Sports, No. 25 by On3 and No. 64 by ESPN, while being widely regarded as one of the nation's top edge defenders. Earned selection to the 2022 All-American Bowl after a standout senior season with 46 tackles, six tackles for loss and five sacks, also adding a receiving touchdown. Helped lead American Heritage to an 11-2 record and a Florida Class 5A state championship as a junior, posting 55 tackles, 14 TFLs and 13 sacks en route to first-team all-state honors.
Lance Mason, TE, Wisconsin, 6-3, 243
COLLEGE: Earned second-team All-Big 10 honors following his one and only season at Wisconsin (2025) as he started nine of 12 games played, with 30 catches for a team-high 398 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Became the first Badgers tight end to lead Wisconsin in receiving, and first Badgers tight end to earn Big 10 season honors, since Jake Ferguson in 2020. Played three seasons (2022-24) at Missouri State. In 2024, was a Stats Perform and FCS Football Central All-America third-team selection and Associated Press All-America honorable mention honoree. Played in all 12 games with eight starts, finishing the season with 34 catches for 590 yards and six touchdowns. Recorded 56 receptions for 800 yards and eight touchdowns in his Bears career.
PERSONAL: Was a three-year starter at Rockwall-Heath High School where he hauled in 39 receptions for 603 yards and seven touchdowns as a senior in 2021. As a senior co-captain, he earned first-team all-district honors at tight end for an 11-2 team and was an academic all-state selection, while the Hawks were 6A district champs and a regional semifinalist. Played inside linebacker as a sophomore. Brother, Kaston, played college baseball at University of Texas-Tyler.
Uso Seumalo, NT, Kansas State, 6-3, 330
COLLEGE: Played in 50 career games with two starts over four seasons at Kansas State after spending his first two seasons of college football at Garden City Community College. Played in all 12 games with two starts during his final season in 2025, posting a career-high 20 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, a sack and two passes defensed. Earned All-Big 12 honorable mention in 2023 after starting 10 of 11 games and posting 18 tackles and 1.5 sacks.
PERSONAL: Played in six games as a senior at Molokai High, earning first team all-conference honors and was selected to play in the All-Hawaii Bowl. Played basketball and volleyball throughout high school before convincing his parents to allow him to play football as a senior in 2019, and became the first ever Division I scholarship player to hail from Molokai High School. Earned honorable mention all-state honors in both volleyball and basketball.
Levi Wentz, WR, Kansas, 6-2, 199
COLLEGE: Finished his five-year, three-school, college career with one season at Kansas (2025). Started six of 12 games played for the Jayhawks, recording 16 receptions for 258 yards and two touchdowns. In two seasons at Albany (2023-24), played in 20 games with 52 receptions for 774 yards and two touchdowns. Began his college career playing receiver Old Dominion in a reserve receiver role.
PERSONAL: Was a two-star recruit out of Pine-Richland High School. Totaled 45 tackles, nine passes defensed, two interceptions and two tackles for loss in his one and only season of high school football. Earned all-conference and all-district honors. Helped Pine-Richland to a 10-2 record and berth in the state playoffs. Played in the prestigious Big 33 football game between Pennsylvania and Maryland.
