The Seahawks signed D'Anthony Bell on Monday, bringing the veteran safety back to the team after he was waived last week.

Bell, who signed as a free agent this offseason, was on the initial 53-man roster that was established on Tuesday, but was then waived on Thursday to make room for the signing of linebacker Chazz Surratt.

Second-year guard Sataoa Laumea was released from the practice squad to make room for Bell.

Bell, who went undrafted out of West Florida in 2022, spent his first three seasons in Cleveland where he appeared in 50 games with seven starts, establishing himself as a special teams standout for the Browns.

Laumea, a sixth-round pick in last year's draft, started six games as a rookie after taking over at right guard for an injured Anthony Bradford.

Additionally, fullback Wesley Steiner was waived from injured reserve with an injury settlement.
