The Seahawks made several roster moves ahead of the team's trip east for a Sunday night contest against the Washington Commanders.

Rookie fullback Robbie Ouzts, who returned to practice this week, was activated from injured reserve, while safety Jerrick Reed II was signed from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.

To make room on the roster, safety Julian Love and tight end Eric Saubert were placed on injured reserve, meaning each will have to miss a minimum of four games before being eligible to return.

Additionally, receivers Cody White and Ricky White III were elevated from the practice squad for Sunday's game.

Reed, a sixth-round pick in 2023, had been elevated for each of Seattle's last three games, meaning he needed to be added to the 53-man roster to be eligible to play. Ouzts, a fifth-round pick out of Alabama, opened the season as Seattle's starting fullback, but suffered a high ankle sprain in a Week 3 win over New Orleans that landed him on IR.

Love, who has missed four games with a hamstring injury this season, was on track to possibly return this week before suffering what head coach Mike Macdonald referred to as a setback with the injury. Saubert, who has been Seattle's third tight end, playing 34 percent of the team's offensive snaps, as well as a big special teams contributor, was ruled out on Friday with a calf injury.

Cody White, who has appeared in one game this season, and Ricky White III, a rookie out of UNLV, give the Seahawks added receiver depth with Jake Bobo and Dareke Young both ruled out due to Achilles and quadricep injuries, respectively, and with Cooper Kupp listed as questionable due to a hamstring injury. For Ricky White, a seventh-round pick, Sunday will mark his NFL debut if he is active and plays.
