The Seahawks signed second-round pick Bud Clark on Wednesday, their seventh pick from the 2026 class to sign his rookie contract.

Following the signing of Clark, a safety out of TCU, only one of Seattle's 2026 picks, first-rounder Jadarian Price, remains unsigned.

The 64th overall pick, Clark was a three-time team captain for the Horned Frogs and a two-time second-team All-Big 12 selection.

He recorded 15 interceptions over the past four seasons, including four interceptions, and a pick-six last season, and has the versatility to play safety or nickel corner, having played both of those roles in college.

"I'm versatile and I'm a ballhawk," Clark said on a conference call with reporters after Day 2 of the draft. "I'm getting to the ball every chance I get. I compete; I'm a competitor always."

Clark and the rest of Seattle's rookie class are back with the team for voluntary offseason workouts, given them a first chance to work with veterans on the team.

"It's been pretty good getting to know the guys," Clark said after signing Wednesday. "They've taking me under their wing, so I've just been following them, understanding their steps."

Clark, who's big personality is reminiscent of that of another Seahawks defensive back, has, predictably, hit it off with All-Pro cornerback Devon Witherspoon, just as general manager and president of football operations John Schneider predicted after the draft.

"Bud's going to be fun too. He's a blast," Schneider said after the Seahawks selected Clark. "Mike and I were talking about the personalities throughout the process. Man, if we put Bud and Spoon in the same room, what's going to happen?"

Clark provided an update of what has happened so far, saying, "I feel like me and him clicked the most out of everybody, so that's been pretty good for me. We've got the same personality, for sure."

The Seahawks continued phase two of their offseason workout program on May 12, 2026 at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center.
