The Seahawks made three roster moves ahead of Sunday’s game against the Raiders, and added right tackle Abraham Lucas to the injury report with an illness.

The Seahawks placed Dee Eskridge on injured reserve Saturday, an expected move after head coach Pete Carroll said Friday that the second-year receiver has a broken hand.

To bolster their receiver depth, the Seahawks elevated receiver Laquon Treadwell from the practice squad. The Seahawks also elevated linebacker Vi Jones from the practice squad, the second straight practice squad elevation for the undrafted rookie out of NC State.

Treadwell, a 2016 first-round pick, signed to Seattle's practice squad earlier this month, and has made a good impression so far.

"I'm anxious to see what Treadwell does when he gets a chance," Carroll said Friday. "He hasn't had a shot to do much, but we'll see how he fits in… He seems to be very well equipped, he seems like a pro. He runs his routes really crisply, he's really attentive about doing a number of things, he can play different positions for us. He's big catching the football. He looks like one of our guys, and he fits in very well."

Treadwell has 104 career catches for 1,184 yards and five touchdowns, including a career-best 33 catches for 434 yards last year with Jacksonville.

In addition to those roster moves, the Seahawks also added starting right tackle Abraham Lucas to the injury report as questionable due to illness. Lucas has played every offensive snap this season for the Seahawks, one of two players to do so along with quarterback Geno Smith, and if he isn't able to play, the likely option to replace him would be second-year tackle/guard Jake Curhan, who started five games at right tackle late last season.

The loss of Eskridge not only affects receiver depth, but will require someone to take over kick return duty, which Eskridge has handled for much of the season. One option is running back DeeJay Dallas, who handled kick return duties earlier this season and most of last season, though another could be cornerback Tre Brown, who handled kick return duties for two seasons at Oklahoma. Carroll said Brown, who last week was activated from the PUP list, has been getting work as a returner in practice.
