The Seahawks kicked off the start of the new league year by agreeing to terms with four free agents, safety Rayshawn Jenkins, center Nick Harris, tackle George Fant and tight end Pharaoh Brown.

Jenkins, who spent the past three seasons in Jacksonville, gives the Seahawks a potential starting safety after they released Quandre Diggs and Jamal Adams last week. A fourth-round pick in 2017, Jenkins has started 80 of 109 games played in his career, and started all 34 games over the past two seasons recording 217 tackles, 21 passes defensed, five interceptions, 2.0 sacks and 10 tackles for loss over that span.

Brown, who went undrafted out of Oregon in 2017, spent time with the Raiders, Colts, Browns and Texans before joining the Patriots last season. While best known as a blocking tight end, Brown also made contributions as a pass catcher, recording 13 receptions for a career-best 208 yards and a touchdown last season while appearing in 17 games with 11 starts.

Over the course of his career, Brown has appeared in 72 games with 47 starts, and has also seen significant playing time on special teams, playing 209 special teams snaps last season.

In Harris, a fifth-round pick out of the University of Washington in the 2020 draft, the Seahawks add a two-time first-team All-Pac-12 selection as a center. Harris has spent most of his time in the NFL at center, though he has also seen playing time at right guard.

In three seasons with the Browns—Harris missed the 2022 season due to injury—Harris has appeared in 40 games with four starts, including two starts last season. Harris gives the Seahawks a potential option at center to compete with 2023 draft pick Olu Oluwatimi, should the Seahawks not retain last year's starter, Evan Brown, who is currently a free agent.

Fant returns to Seattle, where he spent the first three seasons of his career after signing as an undrafted free agent out of Western Kentucky, where he was a standout on the basketball team before taking up football late in his college career. After three seasons in Seattle in which he started 24 games at both tackle spots, also seeing extensive playing time as a sixth lineman/big tight end, Fant signed with the Jets in 2020 where he became a full-time starter, starting 29 games in 2020 and 2021 at right and left tackle. Fant spent last season with the Texans, appearing in 16 games with 13 starts.

The Seahawks agreed to terms with tight end Pharaoh Brown to a one-year contract on March 13, 2024. Brown signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Oregon following the 2017 NFL Draft and has spent time with the Browns, Texans and most recently the New England Patriots.

Seahawks agreed to terms with offensive lineman Nick Harris on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 to a one year contract. Harris was drafted in 5th round (160th overall) by the Cleveland Browns in the 2020 NFL Draft out of the University of Washington. Check out some of the best photos of Nick Harris through the years.
