Emanuel Wilson had his best performance as a Seahawk on Sunday with 100 rushing yards and one touchdown on 24 carries. Wilson led the way for Seattle's rushing attack that finished the game with 153 yards, including a couple of quarterback scrambles.

"I saw a guy that just refused to get tackled," Grey Zabel said of Wilson's game. "He just kept running hard and when you got a guy like that you're going to exert as much effort as you possibly can to make sure he succeeds. What an unbelievable guy, teammate, person and kudos to him, the work that he puts in to have a game like that is truly cool to see."

On Sunday, the Seahawks were without rookie running back Jadarian Price who is still on on injured reserve and Zach Charbonnet being ruled out, though he practiced all week and is still making his way back from an ACL injury.

Though the run game has shown flashes up to this point, the Seahawks knew there was more they could do.

"I think our staff and our players did a great job this week of really identifying where we can improve," head coach Mike Macdonald said. "I think when we watched our self-scout tape, like I said earlier in the week, I left those meetings more enthused with our ability to be able to run the ball. We had to be able to fix some certain things that we needed to improve on. So I think you saw the result of that, of us taking a step."

The 153 total rushing yards is the second-highest mark by Seattle this season. The Seahawks offense ran for 162 yards in Week 2, but didn't have a single player eclipse the 100-yard mark.

"I think it shows a better little blueprint for how we want to move forward," Macdonald said. "It's week-to-week. I know I am hitting you with a bunch of clichés here. We got to re-prove it again next week. We have an opportunity to get even better."

Wilson helped Seattle put the game away in the fourth quarter when he led the way on a scoring drive that ended with a 21-yard rushing touchdown.

"He did a great job. That's what we can expect and it's only a matter of time until the run game took off," AJ Barner said.

Sunday's game also featured the return of the use of Barner in short yardage situations for the "Barn Yard" tush push, having success on all three attempts.

"Our offensive line did a great job of communicating all day and staying efficient with our calls," Darnold said. "Again, it's a huge credit to our plan, too, throughout the week of knowing exactly what kind of looks we were getting and practicing those a ton."

Guard Anthony Bradford also made his return in Sunday's win.

"We love running the ball," he said. "We love getting those tough, grimy yards and I'm happy that we were able to pull it off with the team tonight."
