Receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba was nominated for the Air & Ground Player of the Week after posting 150 yards and one touchdown on nine receptions on Sunday night. His Week 7 performance was just another game for the fourth-year receiver who has already posted six 100+ yard games this season, joining Charley Hennigan (1961), Crazy Legs Hirsch (1951), Michael Irvin (1995), Marvin Harrison Sr. (2000) and Adam Thielen (2018) as the only players in NFL history to have at least 100 yards in six or more of their teams first seven games in a season.

"He's un-guardable. It's pretty amazing to see," safety Nick Emmanwori said. "I'm sitting there thinking like, 'Wow, this (is a) potential Hall of Famer.' Great, great receiver. And knowing that he's getting double teamed and they're sending cloud his way and he's still making plays, it's crazy. It's like you can't even fathom it. So big ups to him. He's one of one."

Smith-Njigba is up to 867 receiving yards on the season, which is 231 more yards than the next leading receiver has through the same number of games played. He also leads the league in receiving touchdowns with eight.

The Seahawks celebrated the 20-3 win vs. the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, October 25, 2026.
