K.J. Wright, Chris Carson & Bradley McDougald All On Track To Play Sunday vs Chargers

The Seahawks have three starters listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Chargers, but Pete Carroll sounded optimistic that all three will play.

Three key players were listed as questionable for the Seahawks on Friday's injury report, but head coach Pete Carroll indicated that linebacker K.J. Wright, safety Bradley McDougald and running back Chris Carson will all likely be on the field Sunday when Seattle hosts the Los Angeles Chargers.

Wright, who missed the first six games of the season, was held out of practice Wednesday and Thursday, but returned to action on a limited basis Friday.

"He got through today fine," Carroll said. "We rested him for two days really not knowing how he would go. Yesterday we decided to just make sure and give him another day of recovery, and he did fine today."

Carson was also limited for a second straight day.

"He worked," Carroll said. "He's just got a little groin he's feeling, so he got through the day. He practiced every day this week, we've just got to make sure on game day he's OK."

McDougald, who is dealing with a sore knee, didn't practice Friday after being limited Thursday, but Carroll said the strong safety is "ready to go. We just wanted to rest him all the way through the week. He has had a good week, he has been working off the field, but he's scheduled to play… Bradley didn't get injured, he's just got a sore knee that he's working through and we just wanted to make sure to maximize the rest."

Cornerback Neiko Thorpe (groin) and guard Jordan Simmons (calf), who both missed last week's game due to injury, are listed as doubtful.

For the Chargers, starting running back Melvin Gordon is questionable with a hamstring injury, though he did practice fully on Friday. Defensive end Joey Bosa remains sidelined with a foot injury, and the Chargers will also be without defensive end Christopher Landrum and linebacker Kyzir White.
