Julian Love, Boye Mafe & Derick Hall Active For Seahawks' Week 6 Game vs. 49ers

All three players listed as questionable for Thursday night’s game are active for the Seahawks.

Safety Julian Love, outside linebacker Boye Mafe and outside linebacker Derick Hall, three key players on the Seahawks defense, are all active for Thursday night's game against the 49ers after being listed as questionable on Wednesday's injury report.

Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said Wednesday that he was optimistic about Hall and Mafe, who between them account for eight of the team's 17 sacks, both being available, but Love was a game-day decision.

The Seahawks will be without three players due to injury, all on defense. Cornerback Riq Woolen (ankle), defensive tackle Byron Murphy II (hamstring) and outside linebacker Uchenna Nwosu (thigh) were all ruled out on Wednesday, and Nwosu was placed on injured reserve Thursday.

The Seahawks made moves Thursday to add depth at all three of those spots, signing cornerback Artie Burns off the practice squad, activating nose tackle Cameron Young off the physically unable to perform list, and elevating outside linebacker Jamie Sheriff from the practice squad.

Young, a 2023 fourth-round pick, will be making his 2024 debut after missing the first five games, while Sheriff, an undrafted rookie out of South Alabama, will be making his Seahawks debut.
