Inactives For the Seahawks' Week 8 Game at Detroit

The Seahawks are pretty healthy for Sunday's game in Detroit, but will be missing a few players due to injury.

DETROIT—The Seahawks will face the Detroit Lions on Sunday with a pretty healthy 53-man roster, a group that includes several players returning from injury, most notably linebacker K.J. Wright and tight end Ed Dickson, who both missed the first six games of the season.

The Seahawks do have a few players sitting out due to injury, however, including defensive end Rasheem Green, who will miss a fourth straight game with an ankle injury despite returning to practice this week and being listed as questionable on Friday. Cornerback Neiko Thorpe, who was doubtful because of a groin injury sustained on Thursday, is also inactive, as is reserve guard Jordan Simmons, who has a calf injury.

While Green won't play, the Seahawks will have fellow defensive end Dion Jordan, who missed two of the previous three games with a knee injury. Tight end Nick Vannett, who missed Seattle's Week 6 game in London with a back injury, is active as well.

Also of note, running back C.J. Prosise is active after being inactive for Seattle's previous two games.

For the Lions, defensive end Ezekiel Ansah is inactive after being listed as questionable Friday. The Pro-Bowl pass-rusher will be missing his sixth straight game due to a shoulder injury. Starting middle linebacker Jarrad Davis is active after being listed as questionable due to a calf injury. Defensive tackle Damon Harrison is also active after joining the Lions this week via a trade with the New York Giants.
