The Seahawks' 2025 schedule was announced last week, and like every year's schedule, there are plenty of interesting notes and quirks that stand out on this year's slate of games. With that in mind, here are 10 numbers of note about Seattle's 2025 schedule.

The kickoff time for a Monday night home game against the Texans, making it the latest kickoff time for a home regular season game in franchise history.

Road games played east of the Mississippi River with games at Jacksonville, Tennessee, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Washington and Carolina. Four of those games are currently scheduled to kick off at 10 a.m. PT, and a fifth, the Week 17 game at Carolina that has not yet been assigned a time, could very well be in that slot as well.

Consecutive years the Seahawks have opened their season at home, including this year's Week 1 game against the 49ers. The Seahawks are 2-1 in those recent openers at Lumen Field, beating Denver in 2022 and 2024 while losing to the Rams in 2023.

Games for marquee free-agent additions against their former teams. Pro Bowl quarterback Sam Darnold will lead the Seahawks against the Vikings at Lumen Field in Week 13, while receiver Cooper Kupp will face the Rams twice, playing at L.A. in Week 11, and at home against the Rams in Week 16. On the other side of that equation, the Seahawks will see some of their former big-name players, facing DK Metcalf and the Steelers in Week 2, as well as Tyler Lockett and the Titans in Week 12. Additionally, the Raiders, who named Pete Carroll their head coach this offseason and who later traded for quarterback Geno Smith, come to Seattle in August for a preseason game.

The Seahawks' net rest differential this season, the fourth best rest differential in the league. For those not familiar with that number, it's a measure of how much more or less rest a team has, relative to its opponent, heading into each game. For example, when the Seahawks play the Jaguars in Week 6, they'll be coming off a Sunday game, while the Jaguars will have played on Monday, making that a plus-1 for Seattle in rest differential. The Seahawks' biggest gap comes as the result of their Sunday night game against the Washington Commanders, which comes after Seattle's bye week, while Washington has a short week, coming off a Monday night game. Seattle's only game against an opponent coming off a bye is the Monday night game against Houston in Week 7.

Last season, the Seahawks had a rest differential of minus-13, the fourth worst in the NFL.
