The Seahawks’ 2025 schedule was announced on Wednesday, and it includes four prime-time games, a Week 8 bye, Week 1 and Week 18 regular-season bookends against the 49ers, and seven games against teams that made the postseason last year, including the NFC West-winning Rams, AFC South-champion Texans and NFC South-champion Buccaneers. For more on all 17 games, here's a game-by-game look at the Seahawks' 2025 regular-season schedule:
Week 1: vs. San Francisco 49ers, September 7, 1:05 p.m., FOX
The Seahawks open their season at home for the fourth straight season, and against an NFC West opponent for the second time in three years, having hosted the Rams in Week 1 two years ago. After ending a six-game losing streak to the 49ers last season, the Seahawks will look to set an early tone in the NFC West in this one, while also trying to recapture a dominant homefield advantage after going just 3-6 at Lumen Field last year.
Week 2: at Pittsburgh Steelers, September 14, 10 a.m., FOX
After going 7-1 on the road last year, the Seahawks will look to continue that trend in their first of six games east of the Mississippi River. In addition to being a tough early-season test—the Steelers have made the playoffs in four of the past five seasons, and haven't had a losing season since 2003—this game will also feature an intriguing individual matchup with DK Metcalf, who was traded to Pittsburgh in March, facing his former team after spending his first six seasons in Seattle.
Week 3: vs. New Orleans Saints, September 21, 1:05 p.m., CBS
Some of the most intriguing storylines in this game involve the coaching staff of both teams. The Saints are led by first-year head coach Kellen Moore, who is from Prosser, Washington where he was a record-setting quarterback before going on to a standout career at Boise State. The Seahawks, meanwhile, rebuilt their offensive coaching staff this offseason bringing over multiple coaches who were in New Orleans last season, including offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, offensive line coach John Benton, run game coordinator/senior offensive advisor Rick Dennison and quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko.
Week 4: at Arizona Cardinals, September 25, 5:15 p.m., Prime Video
The Seahawks' first of four prime-time games is a Thursday night showdown in Arizona, a place where the Seahawks have won 10 of their last 12 games dating back to 2013. Overall, the Seahawks have won seven consecutive games against the Cardinals going back to end of the 2021 season.
Week 5: vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, October 5, 1:05 p.m., CBS
The Seahawks, and their defense in particular, will face a good early-season test against the Buccaneers, who have won four consecutive NFC South titles and reached the postseason for five straight seasons. Last year's Bucs offense ranked third in the league in total yards and fourth in points scored, led by Pro-Bowl quarterback Baker Mayfield, Pro-Bowl receiver Mike Evans and first-team All-Pro tackle Tristan Wirfs.
Week 6: at Jacksonville Jaguars, October 12, 10 a.m., FOX
The Jaguars underwent significant change this offseason, replacing their general manager and head coach, then they made one of the biggest splashes in the draft by trading up to the No. 2 overall pick to select two-way standout Travis Hunter. Despite last year's 4-13 record, there's enough young talent on Jacksonville's roster to make this a potentially challenging trip east.
Week 7: vs. Houston Texans, October 20, 7 p.m. ESPN+
The Texans, coming off consecutive AFC South titles, come to Seattle for a Monday night game that will be the latest kickoff time for a regular-season home game in franchise history. The Seahawks have won four of the five all-time meetings with the Texans, most recently winning in Houston in 2021, and both of the previous matchups in Seattle. The game could also bring back some memories for offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, whose father, Gary, was the head coach of the Texans from 2006-2013.
Week 8: BYE
Week 9: at Washington Commanders, November 2, 5:20 p.m., NBC
The Commanders went from 4-13 in 2023 to 12-5 last season, reaching the NFC championship game under first-year head coach Dan Quinn and quarterback Jayden Daniels, who won offensive rookie of the year honors. Another key piece of that team, who re-signed this year, is linebacker Bobby Wagner, a future Hall of Famer who spent 11 seasons in Seattle.
Week 10: Arizona Cardinals, November 9, 1:05 p.m., CBS
Seattle's second game against the Cardinals marks their only home game over a stretch that sees them play three road games in four weeks. The Seahawks would love history to repeat itself after getting hot last November to win four straight games, including a home win over the Cardinals that ended a four-game winning streak for Arizona.
Week 11: at Los Angeles Rams, November 16, 1:05 p.m., FOX
The Rams won the NFC West with a 10-7 record last year, edging the Seahawks on the fifth tiebreaker, strength of victory, so there's a very good chance that this late-season matchup between a pair of NFC West contenders will have a lot riding on it.
Week 12: at Tennessee Titans, November 23, 10 a.m., FOX
The Seahawks head to Nashville for the second time in the past three seasons—or third time if you count last year's preseason game and joint practices—and will presumably be facing No. 1 overall pick Cameron Ward, who before a standout 2024 season at Miami was known to a lot of area football fans as the quarterback for Washington State University. This could also be considered a Tyler Lockett revenge game if Tyler Lockett weren't way too nice of a person to seek revenge. Regardless, there will undoubtedly be some extra emotions when Lockett faces the Seahawks for the first time after spending 10 seasons in Seattle establishing himself as one of the best receivers in franchise history.
Week 13: vs. Minnesota Vikings, November 30, 1:05 p.m., FOX
The Vikings are back in Seattle for the fourth time since 2018, including a win last season in which Sam Darnold led the game-winning drive. Darnold, of course, is now the quarterback for the Seahawks after leading the Vikings to a 14-3 record, adding plenty of intrigue to a game that could very well also have some NFC playoff implications.
Week 14: at Atlanta Falcons, December 7, 10 a.m., FOX
This game caps a stretch of four road games in six weeks, which on the surface might sound challenging, but is less daunting when you consider the Seahawks' recent road success, going 7-1 away from home last year, as well as their success in early kickoffs, having won 19 of their past 24 games in that time slot dating back to 2018. After beating the Kirk Cousins-led Falcons in Atlanta last year, the Seahawks will be facing former University of Washington standout Michael Penix Jr. this time around.
Week 15: vs. Indianapolis Colts, 1:25 p.m., CBS
The Colts head into the season with one of the league's more wide-open competitions at quarterback, though that figures to be settled by this point of the season. Former No. 4 overall pick Anthony Richardson, a rare athlete at the position, will compete for that job with Daniel Jones, who, as Seahawks fans probably don't need reminding, led the Giants to a win in Seattle last season. The Seahawks have won the past two meetings with the Colts, but this will be the first matchup between the teams since 2021, meaning there's very little carryover from those previous games.
Week 16: vs. Los Angeles Rams, 5:15 p.m., Prime Video
The top two teams in the division last season will face off on Thursday night in one of Seattle's two home prime-time games, one both teams hope will have playoff implications. Cooper Kupp, a Yakima native who spent his first eight seasons with the Rams before being released this offseason, would probably love to have a big game in his home state while facing his former team.
Week 17: at Carolina Panthers, date/time/broadcast info TBD
The Panthers went 5-12 last season, but showed a lot of improvement under first-year coach Dave Canales, a longtime Seahawks assistant under Pete Carroll, and based off the improvement shown last year, this game will be a lot tougher than last year's record would indicate. The Seahawks, who made frequent trips to Charlotte last decade, playing six games at Carolina from 2012-2019, will look to extend a five-game regular season road winning streak against the Panthers.
Week 18: at San Francisco, date/time/broadcast info TBD
The Seahawks close the regular season against the same opponent they open it with, a 49ers squad looking to bounce back from 6-11 season that saw them finish in last place for the first time since 2020. Given San Francisco's track record under Kyle Shanahan, it wouldn't be wise to count the 49ers out despite last year's step back, meaning this game, like the Rams game two weeks earlier, could have big implications in the division race.
