The Seahawks opened up the 2026 season with a wild win over the New England Patriots, overcoming not only the loss of starting quarterback Sam Darnold, who suffered a hip injury on the first drive of the game, but also a 10-point third-quarter deficit.

Thanks to a strong relief effort by Drew Lock and a great defensive performance, the Seahawks were able to claw their way back to earn a 13-10 win to start their season 1-0.
