The Seahawks improved to 3-1 with Sunday's 30-23 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, a game that featured way too many penalties, four takeaways by the Seahawks, enough offense to get the job done, and one final stop and turnover to end L.A.'s comeback hopes. In addition to that final score, here are 12 numbers that help tell the story of Sunday's win at Lumen Field.

Interceptions on two plays from scrimmage to start what was a rather unusual afternoon of football. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, it was the first time since at least 1978, as far back as their data goes, that both teams have started a game with an interception on their first play from scrimmage.

Takeaways for the Seahawks, a point of emphasis leading up to the game after they had zero the previous week. Linebackers Drake Thomas and Ernest Jones IV each had interceptions, Connor O'Toole recovered a muffed fumble, and Uchenna Nwosu forced a fumble with a sack, with Derick Hall recovering to clinch the win.

Wins, with no losses, for the Seahawks when they've won the turnover battle under Mike Macdonald.

Points scored by the Seahawks, their third straight game scoring 30 or more points, marking the first time the Seahawks have scored 30 or more in three consecutive games since 2020.

120 & 2

Scrimmage yards and touchdowns for Emanuel Wilson, who led the way at running back with Jadarian Price on injured reserve. Wilson rushed for 81 yards on 21 carries, including an 8-yard touchdown run, and added 39 more yards through the air on three receptions, including a 23-yard touchdown.

138

Rushing yards for the Seahawks, a big improvement after having just 44 in a Week 3 loss.

30 & 280

Penalties and yardage between the two teams, the second highest combined penalty yardage total in a Seahawks game in franchise history. The Seahawks were flagged for 14 penalties for 150 yards, the most penalty yards in a game in franchise history. Among those penalties were four 15-yarders on the Chargers' two touchdown drives.

12, 1, 1

Tackles, interceptions and sacks for linebacker Ernest Jones IV, his first career game with an interception and a full sack. It's the first interception of the season for Jones, who last year led the Seahawks with five picks.

9, 1, 2

Tackles, sacks and tackles for loss for Nick Emmanwori in his best game of the season coming back from offseason ankle surgery. Emmanwori, who also had two quarterback hits and one pass defensed, has seen his playing time increase in each game since making his season debut in Week 2.

The length of the rushing touchdown scored by receiver Rashid Shaheed, the second rushing touchdown of his career, and his first offensive touchdown as a Seahawk.

Tackles for loss made by seven different Seahawks players, a total that includes four sacks.

Touchdowns scored by the Seahawks, two for Emanuel Wilson, and one each for Rashid Shaheed and Tory Horton. Prior to Sunday's game, Jaxon Smith-Njigba was responsible for six of the Seahawks' nine touchdowns in their first three games.
