Punted a school-record 226 times for a school-record 10,242 yards. Was the recipient of the 2017 Ray Guy Award. Named a unanimous first team All-American (AFCA, AP, FWAA, SN, WCFF). The 2016 and 2017 Big 12 Conference Special Teams Player of the Year. Named first team All-Big 12 at punter in both 2016 and 2017. Named 2017 Big 12 Football Scholar-Athlete of the Year and an Academic All-Big 12 First Team member. Also an All-American in 2016.
PERSONAL: During high school played Australian Rules Football, serving mostly as a defender. Started each match in his career. Averaged approximately 20 disposals per game (a kick/punt or a hand pass). During 2014, participated for the Sydney Swans Academy (professional development team) and represented his state (NSW). Born in Sydney, Australia. Lived in Melbourne, Australia for the five months preceding his move to the United States in the summer of 2015. Mother is Lily Baum and stepfather is Stephen Baum.
