Featuring postgame quotes from the following:

Head Coach Mike Macdonald

All right. Good to see everybody. Great win at home in the division. Obviously a great start to the game, offense going down and scoring a touchdown and defense coming back, getting off to a significant lead there. Just a little funky there in the second half. Just kind of a weird game all the things that happened, the takeaways down in our area. Thought our defense played really hard. Came up big in some of those short area drives. And then it was great to put the game away on offense with some of those four-minute drives, running the ball and closing it out. Plenty of stuff to work on. You know, plenty of stuff to work on. Operationally I thought we did some good things and some things we will be able to address. A win in our league is hard. It's hard to get to. It takes everybody. Took all 70 today. We had some guys go down this week as you guys are well aware. We had guys step up and nobody flinched. It took all 70 again. That's how we roll. You know, you attribute it to our guys, you know, dedicating how we play our style of football all the time no matter the situation. That's what we're chasing. When we do it right, we play really good ball.

You talked a couple times about Tyrice Knight stepping up the last few starts. Comes up with two massive plays. What can you say about his play today?

Well, he got a game ball as well as D Law. Kennedy Polamalu, I gave one, too. I thought our running backs ran tremendously hard and helped close the game out. They're doing a great job. But T Knight specifically, same story. You got to stay ready, how you prepare, and he's playing great football. Obviously want Ernest back as soon as possible, but he is showing he can go in and play great ball and execute. Both of those were pressures we haven't ran before, and so to be able to go in and execute those things not getting all the reps was some high-powered stuff.

Just like how strange it was to see two identical plays like that.

I couldn't believe the D Law got the second. I was like, with holy crap. It's him again. The way that he attacked the ball, T Knight is just awesome. Haven't forced any fumbles this year on defense and got two today. It's awareness, just taking advantage of those opportunities. It was awesome.

With Brissett playing instead of Kyler, did you do some stuff differently because he plays a little bit differently?

MIKE MACDONALD: No. It's funny, it's actually like Brian (Nemhauser) early in the week was asking about how you come up with new plays. It's really just building off looks that you've done and just trying to evolve as the year goes on. But it's in our playbook. We just hadn't hit him yet.

You mentioned the running game there. What sort of stock do you put into the performance, your best output of the season and the way you guys put it together and tried to get going after the turnovers there?

Well, it's a tribute to everybody. This is the second game in a row now against Arizona that our offensive staff has done a great job of getting to runs that -- through adjustments, part of our game plan, over the course of the game that made our run game finish strong. So both games. They deserve a lot of credit, and you felt their offensive line. Felt like we were physical. Felt like we were going to the right people. We took the line. Thought our running backs played really well. Finished runs the right way. Ball was never in jeopardy. So those are all positive things. I think we only had one holding call, which Nick (Kallerup) will learn from. Yeah, really positive.

What was it about the interior blitzing and interior rushing that you thought was key?

I don't know if there was an internal theme going on throughout the week. There was one particular pressure that was inside, but we really would like to have the threat of -- we don't blitz much, but when we do, we want to have the threat of it can come from one side, the other, up the middle so offenses have to prepare for everything.

With the Holani touchdown, what was the idea going to him there? Seems like we haven't really seen him in that situation many times.

I mean, George is doing a great job in practice. He keeps showing that he's a dependable guy and he's effective when he gets the ball and he runs that run really well. We been looking for opportunities to give him the ball. It's hard because our top two guys are so good. Just shows if you just keep knocking on the door and keep kicking butt and keep being productive, we're going to figure out a way to let you do your thing in a game.

Is your quarterback's ball security a concern or freak things?

No, no. Those are things that we can work operationally.

What is about operationally?

Well, the first one was with Olu. I think was the first snap, so that's something we have to be better at. Happened again over there in four-minute with Drew and Bryce. Can't have the ball on the ground in snaps.

How key is it for you continuing to build, establish your culture, to give those opportunities to guys like George that maybe haven't gotten to play much on offense, but you get in a position like, look, we want to make sure you're rewarded for what you did?

Yeah, I mean, it's simple. It's not like we're trying to reward guys. We are trying to win. Guys that show that they can go play great football, we're going to give them opportunities to go do that. I think our actions back that up. I don't know. I would like to play on a team like that. If I was a player and I felt like, why, do you want me to come out and work so hard every day, do all the things you're asking me to do? We want to develop you as a player and we're going need you at some point. So why would you not operate like that? I don't know. Some people don't do that. I don't get it.

What are the early indications on Jalen's injury?

Yeah, it's his knee. Not sure on the severity. Looked like he was in good spirits. You know how it goes. We'll see. We'll get it imaged and move on from there. I mean, could come back to haunt me, I don't think it's season-ending.

What happened with Jarran Reed?

So J Reed, I think the game going into the bye, what was that Houston, at the end of that game he hurt his wrist, so he had an operation during the bye. Look, this just tells you how tough this guy is. He's like an all-time physically tough player, mentally, all of the above. Comes back in two weeks and plays after having -- basically breaking something in his hand or wrist. We thought it was good to go. We thought it was ready, but we had a setback in the game. Just tells you how tough he is. He was thinking throughout the week, shoot, my hand is sore. So we got it re-imaged and turns out he has to have another operation, so it's a setback for him. Your heart goes out to him. It's some adversity for him. But hopefully this will really give him some -- stabilize it and alleviate the pain -- first you're concerned about him for the long run, and then when he can come back and he can come back and play great football for us.

So will he be able to come back this year?

That's the thought, yeah.

With Shaheed, the week and his output today?

Yeah, it was great. Weren't able to get the ball to him in the deeper end of the field, but saw some the run game with him. Felt like he made an impact in the return game. It's funny, you need a punt returner all the sudden. It's a pretty timely trade by John. Well-played.

Is it a second break for Reed? Is it another fracture for Reed?

All I know is he had to have an operation on the same thing, and then we thought it was all right and turned out that it wasn't. It re-happened in the game, so we got to look at it again.

Nick Emmanwori, what can you say about the way he's playing?

We're asking him to play two positions right now. That's what we've referenced over the course of time now is he can start to add responsibility for him. There was a situation today where we probably would've put him in at safety, so learning that as well. So doing a great job. I feel like he's executing at a high level. You feel like he's being decisive, knows exactly -- he's playing with anticipation, which is a positive, and then letting his physical capabilities shine when he goes out there and let's it rip. So we'll continue to build with him, and I'm sure -- I mean, his approach has just been great for a rookie. You know, he's having success, keep coming back, keep rocking, attacking the preparation. Got a great challenge ahead of us this week, so a team that he hasn't seen yet, so need to prepare again at the same level.

Outside of the first snap with Sam, what did you think of Olu entering the game there for the rest of the second half?

Look, I don't know how he played, but felt like we moved the ball when we ran it and the center drives that. I can't wait to watch it. But it's great to have him right there ready to go.

Jaxon, that first touchdown two guys basically draped all over him and he still makes that catch.

What you love about Sam is he pulls the trigger. He's aggressive but like smart with how he does it. He ripped it and Jaxon went and got it. Just shows what he can do. Body control, ball skills, how he tracks it all that was on display.

Back to back weeks of getting up to 28-0 leads, it's only the third time it's ever happened in the Super Bowl era. What's been the impetus for these lightning fast starts recently?

I wish I knew exactly. We'd do it every week. Like I forget what we were talking about earlier in the year. I think we were talking about home, if we could hit the home button, hit it as many times as we possibly can. We have our process. I think we're learning our process, too, about how we get ready for a game. The guys are doing a great job. They're mentally prepared. I think our coaches are doing a great job being very clear about how we're going to start games so guys can go play fasts and decisive. It's only happened how many times. It's not going to happen every time. When it does you're appreciative of the guy's effort.

QB Sam Darnold

Obviously it's a great team win. I thought offensively we were really efficient in the first half. Second half got the run game going a little bit. Third quarter was a little sloppy with the turnovers and we've got to clean that up obviously. But to be able to end of game on our terms in four-minute situation, running the football out, that's how you want to end every single game.

What can you say about the way you started offensively the last two games?

Again, I think just the detail that we put in throughout the week is what makes it happen, our offensive line getting things started with the run game. You know, being able to open up that play-action pass game. The drop-back pass game I felt like I was pretty good as well. Third downs, again, converting some of those third and mediums was huge today, especially early in the game. And then I can't say enough about our defense, the way our defense comes out there every game it seems like. I feel like they do a really good job and I feel very just lucky to play with a team like this and a defense like this as well.

Sam, when a center goes out for you and you're having to find out how to switch mid-game, how difficult is that? What's the process like? Obviously had the exchange there. What do you look to do to clean up in a situation like that?

Just got to continue to work together, get as many snaps as possible. Even before that we were getting a ton of snaps together. We got to clean that up obviously.

You mentioned the run game, to get up to 200 yards before the kneel-downs, really run the ball in the second half, I know this offense has really wanted to run the ball all season, but to get it going like that, how big is that for you guys?

It's huge any time you can get the run game going. It's obviously huge for our offense the way that we want to play. So credit like I said to the offensive line, but not only those guys. The tight ends, the running backs, the receivers for doing their job in the run game.

Did you notice defenses playing your pass game differently because of Rashid Shaheed?

I think just having Shaheed out there, you know, it poses a threat of him potentially getting the ball on the sweep like I said. Earlier in the week I think I said that. And then being able to go over the top with him as well with his speed. You can just feel it out there. It's a different gear that he can hit.

Jaxon getting to a 1,000 yards now in the season already at this point this year, is there anything that surprises you at this point in terms of the accolades he's already racking up?

No. I think, again, it's a credit to the work he's put in, not only this offseason, but throughout his entire career and his whole life, you know, working to get to this point. Knowing him, I know that he's just going to continue to put in that work and stay hungry that way.

How cool was it to see George Holani get that touchdown?

Yeah, it was awesome, man. It was great to see George get in there, especially get that touchdown. We all know how talented George is. I mean, returning kickoffs all the time for us, few runs that he had in the preseason. He's a guy that you can depend on. He knows what he's doing not only in the run game, but protection as well.

Are you concerned about the ball security? That's the center, first snap, and maybe a freak, the guy hitting a glancing blow as you lost the ball, or is that a concern?

For me personally, I got to continue to get the ball out. I think that's a big thing. I felt like I could have gotten the ball out a little bit quicker on that pass that got deflected there, or the fumble as my hand was going back. So I can always do better that way. Again, that's part of the game at the same time. Those things are going to happen. You don't want them to happen but they are going to happen sometimes. Then, again, the deflection off the helmet, the hand, I don't know what and was exactly, but those things happen in football and it's just how fast can you move on and go to the next play.

The big play to Cooper Kupp looked for a minute like you were going to run it and obviously worked out to throw it. What's that decision making like in that moment?

He's a lot faster than me, so get the ball out to that guy that can run faster than me and he's further down the field. It is a tough decision though. Sometimes. But in that -- he was so wide open and I knew he was going to be able to go make some YAC, so just was able to get the ball out to him.

It looks like you took a little bit of a step back before you threw that. Being cognizant of the line of scrimmage.

Yeah.

Is that something that in real time can be kind of tricky to try to navigate there and maybe being precautionary?

For sure. In certain situations when I have a ton of space and I see a guy is wide open sometimes I'll give a little peek and check the sticks. A quarterback can get caught in a tough situation that way sometimes with understanding where the sticks are. Again, that's just part of the situational awareness that I've been working on.

When you see DeMarcus have a pair of touchdowns on the same play with Tyrice, what your reaction when you see those play out back to back like that?

It's just, all right, we can sit back down on the bench and get ready to go here. The defense get back out there and maybe force another turnover. Again, like I said, our defense is doing a great job and to see D Law and T Knight kind of play the way they have been, you know, and it's not just today, it's been showing up throughout the entire season. It was just a matter of when, and today was their day and I was so happy for both of them.

WR Cooper Kupp

On his long catch, and whether he was thinking about his hamstring

I wasn't really thinking about it until I got to about the 10-yard line, and I felt like I was running the last leg of the 400 meter dash. Unfortunately, I couldn't get that one into the end zone. I'm going to have to try again, soon."

On facing his old team, the Rams, next week in a battle for first place

We have been taking a one game at a time mindset. I don't think our minds have really shifted to that yet. We're getting ready to prepare for what that team presents to us, and I think they're playing good ball right now. Shoot, just looking forward to another great challenge. Go out there and go this week and try to go 1-0."

On the effectiveness of the running game, particularly in the second half

That was awesome. The backs were running great, I thought the O-line did an awesome job as well. It's not just about being positive, but the explosives that came out of the running game. Those are the kind of plays that make offenses very dangerous, when you can be explosive in both facets of your offense. But, gosh can we fix this kneel down rule? It's got to be changed soon. And, last thing, Drew's first kneel down, he stepped way too far back. You got to step forward a little bit. But, it's alright. We'll address it tomorrow with him."

On how the offense feels about their sharpness

I think it's going to be interesting to look at this film because I think there is a lot of stuff that we've done that's like, there's little details here and there, that we harp on all the time. Details just have to be better, even though you're finding success, you're moving the ball, you're scoring touchdowns. It doesn't mean it's perfect. There are always these little things you want to fix, and you want to be able to address in your process, because the process, at the end of the day, is what affects and creates the end results. So, our process has to be right. I think what you saw in the second half, we came out, and little details make the difference. You saw those plays today with our defense. You're inches, your milliseconds away from an incomplete pass or a fumble. We saw that offensively, the difference between being able to make the plays and not making the plays is a razor thin margin. Addressing those details, we're going to watch that and see. These plays that we got off, barely, and became big plays, and at the same time look at these plays that our details were off, and they made the play, barely. As much as we can strain to finish those plays, strain to fight. Be detailed in our process, to allow ourselves to make those little things. Find the slight edge for this team and I think that's going to lead us down the right path.

On Sam Darnold making plays outside of the pocket

I think he's doing a great job of being able to step up, two hands on the ball. I know it was something he was saying, that he had focused on early in his career, about being able to create that habit. He's done an incredible job off schedule. Some of the stuff, movement wise; the first throw he made, moving to his left to Jaxon, for the score, that's an unbelievable throw, where he put that one. His ability to do that, and he's been doing that for his whole career. Those kinds of throws, are something that you can see all the way back when he was in New York. Very impressive, and that's part of his game. That's part of what he does. Definitely not surprised by it.

WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba

On the long touchdown catch

Beautiful throw. Great throw. Put it right on the money. Sam's (Darnold) been playing great; gave me a chance on it. So, I appreciate it.

On whether he was aware of where the defender was

Yeah, I had a little bit of time, so I just tried to box out the defender. I felt him step on my heels and fall. It was just easy from there, just had to focus on scoring.

On Sam Darnold's ability to roll to his left and throw across his body

I don't know how he does it, honestly, but he's a competitor and he's going to shoot for the moon. Guys like me, (the) receivers, we appreciate that, giving me a chance to make a play on a ball. He's a special player, and it's like the Sam Darnold Show out there.

On whether he noticed a difference in the coverage with Rashid Shaheed on the field

Not really, I felt like they stuck to what they usually do. But, we're going to be ready for any looks, but having Rashid out there is definitely going to open some stuff up, and I'm excited for him to get this thing going, and for us to be rolling.

On how he feels about having 1,000 yards receiving already

I feel great; I'm blessed, man. I'm thankful I'm healthy and can continue this thing going forward next week, like I said, it's a long season, and we have a lot more games and ways to go. Just focused, locked in, and ready to prepare for L.A. (Rams)

On the importance of having an effective run game

It's huge. We want to have a great balance. We put up some numbers rushing today, so I'm excited for those guys. We have great playmakers, and our O-line wants to run the ball. Receivers doing a good job of blocking downfield. Any time you can get the ball into K9's (Kenneth Walker III) hands and (Zach) Charbonnet's hands with a lane, we know it's going to bring good things.

On the second half drive in which they ran on almost every play

It feels great for the team. I love seeing that. They can't stop it, let's keep going. I thought that everybody did a great job and it's just another thing to focus on for defenses, which will open more things up, so (I'm) excited for that. They did a great job today.

On DeMarcus Lawrence scoring two touchdowns

I'm just thankful DeMarcus Lawrence is on my team, honestly. I grew up watching him, on the Cowboys, so to have him, it's an honor. I still can't really believe that he's on my team. Just thankful for a lot of great players that we have.

On the reasons Seattle is 7-2 at this point

Preparation. Our culture in the building. The guys that we have in this locker room, doing whatever it takes to win. That's from Monday to Sunday. What we're building here, we all feel like we have something special and we just want to keep it going and protect what we have.

LB Demarcus Lawrence

On the rarity of having two touchdowns

First and foremost, all glory to God. You can't draw that up. T Knight (Tyrice) did a great job running the play exactly how Coach (Mike) Macdonald drew it up, and I was the lucky recipient of the two forced fumbles. I'll take it every day.

On this being his first two touchdowns

Yeah, first time, but I'll take more.

On the culture the team is striving to build

I can definitely see we're building something special. There are some things that we can clean up and get better at, but that's a testament to the detail that we put into our work each and every day. Again, the sky is the limit from here. It's just all about us continuing to come together with our camaraderie and taking it one day at a time.

On the depth

I believe it's a testament of what we built in training camp. We've been going at this for a while, and our young guys are stepping up, playing good football, and we're able to stay healthy and stay out there on the field. We've got a good thing going.

On Tyrice Knight

I see resilience, things aren't going your way, but you're still able to get back in there, fight, and come strong for the team. He's definitely a resilient guy and I'm glad he's on my team.

LB Tyrice Knight

On if the fumble recovery plays felt like déjà vu

It was the same play, same ending, same result, and really the set looked the same to me. God just puts things in order for you, so there was no problem with that.

On how hard it was to jump right back in to playing after his knee injury

I feel like I was out for that whole month of August. When I got back, everything just felt slow, it didn't feel like I was playing football. You can watch it, but you just can't move. It's such a different approach to it, but I started to get back in my groove.

On his connection with Drake Thomas

Our whole linebacker room is really close. We've been together for two years now, so at this point, I don't think our connection could get any tighter. Drake and I can play both 'Mike' and 'Will.' Both of us still love the game in the same way and stay attacking the same way. He's a good communicator, so it's good having him on the same field as you, and same with EJ (Ernest Jones IV), and I just love that.

On what the last couple weeks have been like for him

Honestly, it just felt good to be back healthy. There isn't an excuse early in the season, but right now, I just feel like me again, just back moving and playing football better. It's good for my rehab to get back right, just for me staying strong and just staying locked in with everything. Things will work out how they're supposed to work out.

S Nick Emmanwori

On if playing multiple positions has helped the game slow down

For sure. The game's slowing down well for me. It was my fourth, real full game today. As the week progresses, and as I'm seeing more ball, seeing more frequent stuff and seeing a lot of similarities between each week. I got some good vets and good coaching so the game's slowing down real well for me.

On getting his first sack

My first sack, it felt good. I was hoping I was getting my first sack last week against the Commanders, but I was real close. It was my whole point this week to get a sack, and I've been working with AD (Aden Durde) and (Justin) Hinds and CP (Chris Partridge) about blitz techniques and how to get the dude down. I knew Jacoby (Brissett) isn't much of a scrambler, so I knew I had a second chance for a sack.

On why he may have had so many plays in coverage today

It was as far as watching film and the coaching staff being ahead of the plays and we do a great job out there talking. Spoon's (Devon Witherspoon) out there talking to me, and we're talking every drive about what to look for, what formations. It's team defense.

On coming off the field with a wrist injury

It was a little banged up. I'm not sure. I've got to watch the tape to see what happened, but I think he ran into my wrist. I tried to stay out there, but it was a little painful, but it was checked out. I'm good.

K Jason Myers

On setting the record for field goals made in franchise history

It's a blessing to be here for so long at a great organization. It's a blessing to do what I do with great guys, great organization. Being around here is awesome.

On what it means to be so consistent

It's what I work for. That's what my job is. It's to come in and put points on the board whenever the offense can't score a touchdown. I try to describe myself as being consistent and coming in and kind of cleaning up stuff for the offense.

On if he knew he had a chance to break the record coming into today

I saw it earlier in the year. It's cool, but it's one kick at a time. It's kind of cliche, but it's the way you go about it.

On if it was a goal to break the record this year

I knew if I keep doing the same thing, kick after kick, that it would happen. It's how I've been kicking my whole career. That is what I stuck to.

CB Devon Witherspoon

On how the defense performed today

It's nothing new; it's just us. We're just being ourselves. We hold ourselves to a high standard. We go out there, and we want to put it on tape so the world can know. So, I think it's just nothing new.

On his reaction to DeMarcus Lawrence's touchdowns

That's the way to get to the house. We talk about it all the time, when we get the ball, we go plus mode. We're trying to go score, and we did that today. Shout out to T-Knight (Tyrice Knight), and shout out to D-Law (DeMarcus Lawrence) for making the plays when they came to him.

On Tyrice Knight's performance

It was smooth. We always have a next man up mentality. The way we prepared, not just with the ones, twos, or threes, but we prepared as a whole. No matter who it is out there, we just expect you to be who you're supposed to be. When we go out there, we go out there and make plays. It's just a next man up mentality, and he went out there and handled business today.

WR Rashid Shaheed

On what they have to do differently and if it is a mental thing

Everything, starting off fast, communicating, all that type of stuff. Telling us what we see, telling everybody what we see out there, come first drive and play.

On how they were able to overcome injuries during the game and almost put the offense in a position to win

Next man up; no drop off for real, so we expect when somebody goes down, next man comes in, pick up the slack. That's what it's about.

On how long he stays with this game

Stay on this game for one day. Watch the film, corrections, and then on to the next one.

LB Drake Thomas

On the DeMarcus Lawrence and Tyrice Knight fumbles and touchdowns

It's a great play for us. Credit to [Tyrice Knight] for being ready. Everyone prepares like a starter, and you can see that [Tyrice Knight] showed up today and had two sack fumbles. It's huge.

On the theme of the defense with guys stepping up when called upon

It's our team's DNA. It's a consistent message from top down and we all buy into it. You see that on the field. Someone steps up and makes a play that hasn't been playing the week prior. And to come in with no drop off. It's a product of our team's DNA.

On where that mindset comes from

I think it's the culture we have inside the building. You know whenever your number is called, we count on that guy. We know we can trust him. And when you're in there, you want your teammates to be able to trust you. So the preparation never changes. Whenever your number is called, whoever it is, we have the faith that they'll be ready.

RB George Holani

On if he knew he would get in the game

My coach [Kenny Polamalu], he definitely said they're going to try and get me a run in there. I was expecting at least one and [the touchdown] was the one. And obviously the team did a great job. And then I got to get in at the end of the game.

On if he could tell his run was going to go for a touchdown

I had no clue what was going on just because I was trying to read the front end. Somebody got beat inside so I was like, I have to keep the front side. So once I jumped to the outside, it was just clear. I saw me and I had to outrun the safety. I gave him a little inside move and got back outside.

On getting the run game going in the second half

It was pretty awesome just to get the run game going finally. We've been trying to work on the run game for a couple games so it was pretty cool to see Zach [Charbonnet] and [Kenneth Walker III] go out there and do their thing. And I finally get some touches at the end of the game as well.

RB Kenneth Walker lll

On how he felt about the running game

You know, we were successful in the run game. In the second half we turned it up and our O-line did a great job. You know, we were just executing much better than we were before the second half. We came out in the second half and started executing much better."

On how encouraging a performance like this is

It's very encouraging but we just have to stack days. Just keep practicing and critique what we need to critique on film and then come out and do it again."

On why this team has had several big wins

I just feel like we're never satisfied. We always talk about keeping the foot on the gas, and I feel like when we're up in the second half, we've just got to keep that same mentality.

T Abraham Lucas

On how he felt the offense played today

I thought we were a little iffy to get started, but the run game really started to take off and I was excited about that. Overall, I thought we played well. I mean, 44 points, granted the defense added a lot to that but I thought we played well."

On running the ball 12 straight times in the third quarter

We just started running the ball. I've said it again, and I'll say it every week; it's a softening process and eventually things start to hit. We've got all 11 guys on the same page rolling.

On the play of the running backs

They get us right a lot of the time. Ken (Walker), George (Holani), and Zach (Charbonnet) and their unique running styles they have and bring to the table, we're lucky to have a backfield like this.

How good can this offense be?

As good as we want to.

G Grey Zabel

On the streak of run plays in the second half

It was good. Anytime we can run the ball and continue to run the clock like that is important. You've got to give credit to our running backs. The way they ran it was pretty impressive. We've just got to keep building on that.

On what was clicking with the run game

There was a few times where we didn't get blocked up right, or missed a block here and there and ultimately they (Seahawks running backs) just made it right and they kind of did it themselves. That was a big game for all three running backs, and they continue to perform every single week.

On what an effective run game means for the offense

Yeah, the sky is the limit. I think if we continue to improve up front, it's just going to get better and better. At the end of the day, I think the ability to both run and pass is really important in the NFL. I'm excited to get back in the film room on Monday and get back to work.

On Nick Emmanwori leading the team in tackles

That's my little bro. I took him under my wing. I expect that from him. I'm extremely happy for him. He's going to continuously get better, and he's going to be great in this league for sure.

On the rush and coverage

It worked pretty good. The pass and the coverage go hand in hand. Good coverage leads to sacks, and a great rush leads to picks and things of that nature. It worked well today. Everybody was on the same page.

On the mentality after the turnover on the goal line

Let's go again. Let's do it again. We're positive team on both sides of the ball, no matter what happens. we're here to pick each other up and keep moving forward. That's what it's all about.

On Tyrice Knight

He stepped up. We believe in next man up, no drop offs. As his brothers, we're going to make sure he steps up to the plate whenever his name is called. That's for everybody. We're going to back each other up, no matter what.

On DeMarcus Lawrence's touchdowns

I was happy as hell for him. That's my dog, so hopefully he does it again. but when I saw that, I was just happy. I was lost for words.

LB Boye Mafe

On how long he's been working towards his first sack

It's been a while. I appreciate all my coaches, all teammates, just making sure that they're on me and continuously believing in me and talking me through it all year."

On three stops inside the 20-yard line

Our defense, you give (them) the ball on (our one-yard line) ,or you give (them) the ball on (their) one-yard line, we're going to defend every blade of grass like it's our last. The connection and the type of teammates we have on this defense, I love it. The fact that we can always go out there and play for each other and play with each other it means the world to us.
