The Seahawks signed linebacker Jimmy Ciarlo to their practice squad on Wednesday. Additionally, the practice squad exemption for receiver Malick Meiga, who signed last week, was lifted, meaning he now counts toward the 17-player practice squad limit.
To make room for Ciarlo and Meiga, safety D'Anthony Bell and receiver Julian Hicks were released from the practice squad.
Ciarlo, who went undrafted out of Army in 2024, signed with the Jets after the draft, but missed his rookie season due to a knee injury. He joined the Bills in 2025, appearing in one game, and has also spent time with the Dolphins and Titans. Ciarlo was a two-year starter at Army, recording 114 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, three sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in those two seasons. He also served as Army's team captain for the 2023 season.
Meiga, who is originally from the Ivory Coast, played high school football in Montreal, then began his college career at Penn State before transferring to Coastal Carolina. Meiga signed with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent in the offseason, then was waived from injured reserve during training camp with an injury settlement.
