Seahawks Launch New Gameday Poster Series Featuring Designs From Local Artists

Offering Fans a Limited-Edition Collectible, First Poster Depicting Seahawks vs. Bengals On Sale Now

RENTON, WASH. – The Seahawks announced today a new gameday poster series, offering fans an exclusive limited-edition keepsake featuring designs by local artists. The series will include eight 18"x24" posters with unique artwork depicting the team's regular season home game matchups against opposing teams. The Seahawks have partnered with renowned Pacific Northwest artists Ames Bros to curate the collection and select the artists to design the posters.

The posters will each include the game opponent and date, along with a one-of-a-kind design reflecting the artists' unique techniques and styles. They will be locally screen printed in limited quantities.

The first poster in the series, representing the Seahawks vs. Bengals home opener on Sept. 8, is on sale now and features the artwork Preston Singletary, whose artworks are known for featuring themes of transformation, animal spirits and shamanism through elegant blown glass forms and mystical sand-carved Tlingit designs.

"We love to make posters and we love the Seahawks, so for us it's super exciting to be a part of creating unique artistic representations for each home game," said Barry Ament, co-founder of Ames Brothers. Co-founder Coby Shultz added, "For fans, we hope the posters represent a really cool visual representation of a fun memory, where somebody can hang them their wall and say, 'I was at that game.'"

"We are proud to launch this program as a tribute to the vibrant and diverse Seattle arts community," said Jeff Richards, Seahawks Vice President of Marketing and Community Engagement. "Fans have long seen a diverse selection of local art displayed throughout CenturyLink Field and this is another way we're excited for fans to see their favorite games represented through unique, creative designs, and be exposed to new local artists at the same time."

The posters will be unveiled the Monday prior to each home game and available for purchase at Seahawks.com/gamedayposters. Posters cost $25 each and can be picked up at the Experience Check-In Table at CenturyLink Field on gameday, or at the CenturyLink Field Pro Shop during designated hours. An additional 12 "platinum" versions of the posters, featuring enhanced paper and printing techniques, will be sold through the Seahawks auction site the day after each game and shipped to purchasers. At the final home game of the season, one full poster series will be given away as part of the team's "Fan Appreciation" game.

All proceedsfrom poster sales will benefit The Creative Advantage Foundation, which helps provide high quality arts education equitably across the Seattle School district.
