It's been a relatively quiet season for Seahawks kicker Jason Myers, which is a good thing, it means he's making field goals, extra points and being efficient on kickoffs. But on Sunday, Myers' name was brought up for becoming the all-time field goal leader in franchise history.

Myers passed Stephen Hauschka who previously held the record with 175 field goals made.

"It's a blessing to be here for so long at a great organization," Myers said. "It's a blessing to do what I do with great guys, great organization. Being around here is awesome."

Myers went three-for-three on field goals on Sunday, highlighting his consistency.

"It's what I work for," he said. "That's what my job is. It's to come in and put points on the board whenever the offense can't score a touchdown. I try to describe myself as being consistent and coming in and kind of cleaning up stuff for the offense."

Heading into the game, Myers was aware he had a chance to break the record. "I saw it earlier in the year. It's cool, but it's one kick at a time. It's kind of cliche, but it's the way you go about it."

He added, "I knew if I keep doing the same thing, kick after kick, that it would happen. It's how I've been kicking my whole career. That is what I stuck to."
