The NFL Players Association last month put together an All-Pro team for the first time, with players themselves voting to select the team.
Kicker Jason Myers was the only Seahawks player selected to the NFLPA All-Pro team, but four other players were recognized as being among the very best at their positions. On Thursday, the NFLPA announced the Top 5 vote getters at each position, with Myers and four other teammates making the cut.
Quandre Diggs, who has been named a Pro Bowler each of the past three years, was voted the No. 3 free safety, while fellow defensive co-captain Al Woods was voted the No. 5 nose tackle. Rookie cornerback Tariq Woolen also finished fifth in the NFLPA voting, while Nick Bellore was fifth among core special teams players.
Woolen, Diggs and Myers are all in Las Vegas this week for the 2023 Pro Bowl Games, and Woolen is also a finalist for the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year award, as well as the Pepsi Rookie of the Year award, for which running back Kenneth Walker III is also a finalist.
The NFLPA All-Pro team and Top 5 were selected by active players, who voted for players at their position group and the position they line up against. Players could not vote for themselves or for teammates.
