Still wearing the new Rivalries uniform following a private photoshoot this summer, Seahawks cornerback Devon Witherspoon flashed a grin and gave a succinct review of the grey and green uniforms the team will wear for its Week 16 game against the Rams.

"This shit looks clean," Witherspoon said. "I'm ready to put this on and wear in the game. It's clean, and I think the fans are going to love it."

The Seahawks debuted their new Rivalries uniforms, which will be worn in their Week 16 home game against the Rams, but before the public got a first look at them on Thursday, players got a sneak peak during a photoshoot earlier this summer, and the new wolf grey and iridescent green look garnered rave reviews.

"I like them a lot," said running back Kenneth Walker III. "It's just a new look, and I like new looks. I feel like it fits it, it'll be a good look when we come out and play with them. I think the 12s will love it."

As he saw the uniforms for the first time, receiver Cooper Kupp said, "This is fantastic. Look at that. This is unreal… The details on it."

Among Walker's favorite elements of the uniform is the wolf grey color of the jersey and pants, a look the Seahawks went away from after the 2022 season to make room for throwbacks in their uniform rotation. These wolf grey jerseys and pants, however, are different from those worn in the past in several ways, most notably the iridescent green numbers, markings on the shoulders and pants that represent sound waves, a nod to the loudest fans in the NFL. The Seahawks' special connection with their fans is also represented by a 12 patch on the back of the collar, and by small 12s in the jersey numbers that reflect in the light.

"The homage to the fans, playing at Lumen, it's pretty cool with the soundwave them that goes throughout them," safety Julian Love said. "I just think they look good, they look really clean. It's a fresh take."

What really differentiates the uniforms, however, is the iridescent green helmet with a metallic chrome finish.

"That stood out first," Love said of the helmet.

"That's tough," defensive end Leonard Williams said after seeing the helmet for the first time.

While players will have to wait until December to wear the new Rivalries uniforms in a game, fans can get their Rivalries jerseys and merchandise when they go on sale on September 10 both in-store at The Pro Shop locations at Lumen Field and The Landing In Renton, and online at https://proshop.seahawks.com/.

"I love it," outside linebacker Derick Hall said. "I think it's different. The helmets are freaking awesome. It's pretty cool the design, and the way they go about making the small details between the numbers and stuff like that. I love the uniform, I think it's really good. I can't wait to wear it."
