Seahawks rookies and quarterbacks have already reported to the Virginia Mason Athletic Center, as have players recovering from injuries, and by Friday the entire roster will report to camp ahead of Saturday's practice that will kick off 2026 training camp.

There will be plenty of intrigue as the reigning Super Bowl champions take the field, and plenty of interesting storylines to keep an eye on throughout camp. Adding to the intrigue this year will be extra spotlight on the team with the Seahawks featured on HBO's "Hard Knocks" for the first time. And as is the case with the start of any football season, there will be injuries to monitor, as well as possible contract extensions, which often can get finalized just before the start of camp or early in camp.

When it comes to the on-field action, these are 10 of the storylines, one for each position group, that will be worth watching as camp unfolds.

• On special teams, Seattle has one of the NFL's most dynamic returners in Rashid Shaheed, but with Shaheed expected to take on a bigger role in the offense, do the Seahawks decide to take either of the return jobs off his plate?
• At safety, does Ty Okada take over a starting role with Coby Bryant moving on, or can rookie Bud Clark make a push for that job?
• Sticking with the secondary, who wins the No. 3 cornerback job behind Devon Witherspoon and Josh Jobe?
