USAA's Salute 250 Kickoff Concert Recap

To celebrate the Seahawks kicking off the 2026 season, we hosted USAA's Salute 250 Kickoff Concert featuring Luke Bryan on Wednesday, September 9 at Lumen Field.

The Seahawks partnered with USAA to host members of the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard for a post-practice meet-and-greet with players and coaches as well as an on-field combine on August 10 at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center.

On July 30, 2025, the Seahawks and USAA welcomed 100 members of the U.S. Coast Guard for a special day at Training Camp. Guests kicked off the morning with an on-field boot camp before enjoying practice from the patio. The experience ended with a meet-and-greet and autograph session with Seahawks players.

In honor of Salute to Service month, Navy Petty Officer First Class (ret.) Generald Wilson sang the National Anthem ahead of the Seahawks' Week 12 matchup vs. the Arizona Cardinals.

Taking a moment to recognize our military service members, veterans, and their families. In collaboration with USAA, we continue to bring local military together with our players to show appreciation for their service to this country.

Seahawks general manager John Schneider learns he has been nominated for the 2022 NFL Salute To Service award, with surprise messages from Seahawks players and staff, as well as the military community. Vote for Schneider here.

A 50-foot gaming trailer came to the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton, where Seahawks players played Call of Duty with the Seattle Recruiting Battalion and future soldiers who will soon be departing for basic training. Brigadoon Service works to provide service dogs for veterans, children and adults with physical, developmental, and behavioral health disabilities, to promote a more independent and enriched life. Their latest opportunity to help came with Staff Sergeant Siqueido and his son, Salem, who was born with Autism and would benefit from a service dog to help him with the daily functions of life.

Growing up with two parents in the armed forces, Seattle Seahawks defensive end Carlos Dunlap II understands the importance of supporting our servicemen and women. The Seahawks's Salute to Service game, presented by USAA, is November 21 vs. the Arizona Cardinals at Lumen Field.

For their tireless work during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Washington Army National Guard was selected to raise the 12 Flag for Week 11 of the 2020 season vs. the Arizona Cardinals, which is also the Seahawks' Salute to Service game. Video narrated by Seahawks Legend Nate Boyer.

Seahawks Legend Ray Roberts took part in the Minority Veterans of America Virtual Open Mic to celebrate Juneteenth.

The Seahawks and the USAA would like to thank Major Scott Smiley of the United States Army for being a part of the Salute to Service pregame ceremonies.

During halftime of the Seahawks Salute to Service game against the Giants, the Seahawks dedicated a row of seats as the "Heroes of 12" to honor military veterans and their families.

In conjunction with the Seahawks and USAA the US Marine Corps held a Helocast Demonstration for the players and coaches following practice, as Marines jumped out of helicopters and swam to the shore just of the VMAC practice facility.
