COLLEGE: Played in 44 career games with 16 starts at defensive end, after beginning his career at Utah as a wide receiver, switching to defense in the spring of 2022. During his final season in 2024, played in eight games with six starts at defensive end. Named to the Academic All-Big 12 Team. Totaled 22 tackles, five tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and one forced fumble via a strip-sack. Finished defensive career with 104 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks in his career.
PERSONAL: Three-star recruit on 247Sports and Rivals, and rated the No. 1 recruit in the state of New Mexico out of La Cueva High. Was two-time first-team all-state and the Albuquerque Journal Metro Male Athlete of the Year as a junior for 2018-19. Missed five games his senior season due to injury, finishing with 39 receptions with 683 yards and eight receiving touchdowns. Had 43 catches for 867 yards with eight touchdowns, adding 20 carries for 211 yards and three rushing touchdowns as a junior, also had 12 tackles (four tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks) and a blocked extra point his junior year. Helped La Cueva win the state championship in 2018. Also competed in track & field, earning Albuquerque Journal Track Athlete of the Year in 2019 after qualifying for the state meet in five events, winning the 300-meter hurdles and finishing second in the 100 meter dash.
