RENTON, Wash. — The Seattle Seahawks announced today Tim Kleindienst and Kevin Müller have partnered with the team to become its newest "12s Everywhere" ambassadors in Germany. As "12s Everywhere" ambassadors, Bundesliga players, Kleindienst and Müller, will support Seahawks events, content, and media strategies in Seahawks Deutschland.
Tim Kleindienst is a German national team player and currently plays as a center forward for Borussia Mönchengladbach. He was born in Jüterbog and has had an eventful career with spells at Cottbus, Freiburg, Heidenheim and Gent before moving to Mönchengladbach in 2024. Kleindienst is known for his goal-scoring abilities and was the top scorer in the 2022/23 season of the 2. Bundesliga with 1. FC Heidenheim. Kleindienst has been named the new captain of Borussia Mönchengladbach for the 2025/26 Bundesliga season.
"I first became aware of the Seahawks when I was a teenager, and I've been following them as a fan ever since," said Kleindienst. "American football has always fascinated me, this mixture of strategy and athleticism, plus the electrifying fan culture. Now being an ambassador for the Seahawks is really cool. I'm really looking forward to working with Kevin to accompany and support the Seahawks in their endeavors in Germany!"
Kevin Müller was born in Rostock, Germany. The goalkeeper, who played seven times for the DFB youth national teams, began his career at Hansa Rostock in the 3rd division and the 2nd Bundesliga. He is currently playing with 1. FC Heidenheim. Together with Tim Kleindienst, he celebrated promotion to the Bundesliga in 2023 and, one year later, qualification for the UEFA Conference League.
"I became a Seahawks fan in the early 2010s and have been hooked ever since," said Müller. "So I'm really excited to now be part of this organization, moving from the fan camp to an official role, so to speak! Above all, I'm looking forward to connecting and communicating with the German Sea Hawkers and football fans in general!"
The Seahawks continue to grow the team's global brand presence through its "12s Everywhere" fan engagement program. As part of the NFL's Global Markets Program, the team was granted marketing rights in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in 2024. The Seahawks have had marketing rights in Canada since 2021, and added Australia and New Zealand in 2025. In the past year, the team has formed new international partnerships in Germany including Infront, Condor Airlines, BDA Inc., and the European League of Football's Rhein Fire. In 2024, the team also introduced an international mascot, Bam, to engage directly with fans outside North America.
Fans are encouraged to follow along with the Seahawks' international efforts here.
