This October, the Seattle Seahawks and American Family Insurance continued to strengthen their commitment to the community and empower local youth by teaming up to support high school football programs. Together, they championed player safety and ensured better access to the game.
As part of the initiative, the Seahawks and American Family Insurance donated 150 Guardian Caps, along with backpacks and notebooks, to football teams at Chief Sealth International High School and Curtis Senior High School.
Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III, Seahawks Legend Marcus Trufant and Seahawks president Chuck Arnold joined students on the field. Blitz and the Seahawks Dancers also brought energy and enthusiasm to each visit.
Guardian Caps are soft-shell helmet covers designed to help reduce impact during practice.
Trufant shared motivational words with the teams and representatives from American Family Insurance spoke about the company's ongoing dedication to player safety, community engagement, and youth empowerment.
This initiative reflects both organizations' shared commitment to protecting and uplifting young athletes across the Pacific Northwest.
