Throughout the 2025 season, the Seahawks took part in a year-long initiative called Impacting 50 Communities, presented by Safeway, which was dedicated to making a difference across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Over the course of the regular season and through Seattle's playoff run and ultimate Super Bowl win, the Seahawks impacted a total of 55 different communities and 52,970 individuals.
"What stood out is just how far of a reach the Seahawks community is," Seahawks vice president of community engagement and Legends, Mario Bailey said. "Some of our events were in Australia, Germany, Canada, Hawaii, Alaska."
Becca Stout, the managing director of community engagement added, "We want to make sure that we're showing up in all communities that our Seahawks fans exist in and we want to make sure we're showing up authentically in those communities."
The Seahawks' impact reached far and wide, which meant visits and donations to those who needed it. Seattle was able to donate 25,441 items and $1,230,737. Amongst many other donations, the Seahawks donated a $30,000 girls flag football grant to help grow the sport in Hawaii. They also donated thousands of dollars' worth of shoes to children of the Boys and Girls Club of Pasadena following the devastating wildfires in California.
The initiative also made sure Seahawks Legends and players were involved, with many former players making appearances at events both globally and locally. 112 players and Seahawks Legends made appearances at events.
Stout said, "What a privilege to get to give back in the name of the Seahawks."
