The Seahawks will finish out its second week of training camp practices with a practice at Lumen Field on Saturday, Aug. 8. Gates for the practice open at 4:15 p.m., with the practice starting at 5:20 p.m. Fans can stay through practice for an autographed football toss session from players following the practice at 7:20 p.m.

Seattle usually practices at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center for all of training camp but the practice at the stadium is a chance for players who haven't been at the stadium to see it and get a feel for how a game day will operate.

"There's a lot of positives," head coach Mike Macdonald said. "One, we can fit more 12s in the stadium, which is great. Our folks do a great job of trying to maximize the amount of people that can be there. We're trying to practice right at what the primetime day is. We're not doing the day exactly what it would look like as if we were in the game mode but getting the guys to understand what the day feels like when you get to the stadium, how you get there, what the pregame feels like, which is cool, especially for our young guys. It's good experience for them. And then create more of a game-like atmosphere. The periods will reflect that. It won't be a full-fledged scrimmage but there will be good competition, and we'll get to see some of the young guys practice in that type of environment, which will be great."

Receiver Rashid Shaheed said, "I'm excited to see the energy of the fans. It's going to be good to get back on our home turf. And yeah, it's going to be a ton of good energy and we're all excited."

There will be meet and greets with Seahawks Legends, face painters, a live DJ, a gaming zone and many photo ops throughout the evening.
