Guard Shane Lemieux was placed on practice squad injured reserve to make room for Hook.

Hook, who went undrafted out of Toledo, signed with the Eagles after the draft, then was waived prior to the start of the regular season.

A three-time first-team All-MAC selection and two-time team captain, Hook recorded 352 tackles, eight tackles for loss, seven interceptions and 15 passes defensed in four seasons as a starter. As a senior, Hook had a career-best and team-leading 107 tackles along with two interceptions and four passes defensed.
