Seahawks Sign Forsett to Active Roster

The Seahawks signed running back Justin Forsett from the practice squad to the active roster.

The Seattle Seahawks have released wide receiver Michael Bumpus and signed running back Justin Forsett from the practice squad to the active roster, the team announced this afternoon.

Forsett was Seattle's first of two seventh-round draft picks (233rd overall) in this year's NFL Draft before being released after camp. He was picked up by the Indianapolis Colts and played in three games, returning 11 kickoffs for 248 yards with a long of 28. He was signed to Seattle's practice squad on October 9.

Bumpus began the year on the practice squad until being signed to the active roster on September 13. He played in four games with five catches for 48 yards and one touchdown, and also returned seven punts for 66 yards.
