The Seattle Seahawks have hired Matt Berry as their southwest area scout, promoted Jason Barnes to pro personnel assistant, named Ed Dodds midwest area scout and Eric Stokes west coast area scout, the team announced today.
Berry comes to Seattle after spending the last five seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, serving the last three as their south central region scout.
Barnes served his first two years with the team as an intern in the pro personnel department and replaces Dodds, who moves into Stokes' former midwest role. Stokes takes over for Mike Phair, who moved over to the coaching ranks to assist Linebackers Coach Zerick Rollins.
