The Seahawks released receiver Cody White on Friday, then signed him back to the practice squad.

As a vested veteran, White is not subject to waivers so can immediately be signed to the practice squad.

Running back Damien Martinez was released from the practice squad to make room for White.

The Seahawks did not make an immediate corresponding move, leaving one spot open on the 53-man roster. With four players listed as doubtful for Sunday's game—cornerback Devon Witherspoon, safeties Julian Love and Nick Emmanwori and running back Zach Charbonnet—the Seahawks could fill that spot Saturday by signing a player off the practice squad to add depth at one of those positions. The Seahawks also have the option of elevating two practice squad players, meaning with an opening on the 53-man roster, three players currently on the practice squad could be available for Sunday's game.
