Renton, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks have signed punter Jon Ryan to a four-year contract, the team announced this afternoon.
Ryan signed with Seattle in 2008 and became the franchise-leader in the four main punting categories in his eight seasons in Seattle. He ranks first in punts (607), punt yards (27,225), punts landing inside the 20 (221) and touchbacks (51). He has not missed a game in his Seahawks career, punting in all 127 games and 12 postseason games.
