RENTON, Wash. -The Seattle Seahawks announced today a partnership with Volt Athletics (Volt), a Seattle-based sports technology company, to donate professionally-built strength and conditioning programs to three Washington State high school football programs, delivered through Volt's intelligent training app. The three schools, chosen in collaboration with the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA), are Renton, John F. Kennedy, and Sumner High Schools.

This donation is the first of its kind by any major professional sports franchise and reflects the shared values of both organizations and their commitment to athlete health and safety. Using Volt's technology, football players at these three high schools will get the opportunity to access safe and effective workout plans, which will help them build strength and reduce the risk of injury.

"The health and safety of young athletes is one of our top priorities," said Seahawks VP Community Outreach Mike Flood.  "Our partnership with Volt will provide additional resources for coaches and athletes to learn how to train more effectively."

Volt's training is also utilized by USA Football and the U.S. National Team programs.

"We're excited to be selected by the Seahawks to train on Volt," says Coach Tim Tramp, Head Football Coach at Renton High School. "As a coach, you always want what is best for your athletes, and with this donation, we're confident our players are training the right way for football to avoid injury and develop properly."

The training, built by industry experts and trusted by over 50,000 coaches and athletes, is a comprehensive program scientifically designed to develop strength, muscle mass, and explosiveness, helping the players stay safe on the field.

"The Seahawks are taking a proactive approach with the aim of strengthening youth and high school football programs throughout the state, and we're proud to play a role," says Dan Giuliani, Co-Founder and CEO of Volt Athletics. "Working together, we are able to leverage new technology to make elite-level training available and accessible to these local teams."
