Seahawks Name Solari Offensive Line Coach

KIRKLAND, WASH. - The Seattle Seahawks have named Mike Solari offensive line coach, the team announced Thursday. Sorari spent the past 11 seasons with Kansas City Chiefs, including the last two as offensive coordinator. He was one of just six assistant coaches in team history to boast over a decade of service with the franchise. Prior to his role as offensive coordinator, he spent nine years as the team's offensive line coach. Since 2001, Kansas City's rush offense finished in the top-10 five out of seven years. A graduate of San Diego State University, Solari spent five seasons (1992-96) as the tight ends/assistant offensive line coach for the San Francisco 49ers before joining the Chiefs. His coaching career began at Mission Bay (CA) High School in 1976. The 2008 season will mark his 20th season in the NFL
