Seahawks 'My Cause, My Cleats' Footwear Now Available For Auction With Funds Raised Going To Charity

Seahawks 'My Cause, My Cleats' shoes are now available for 12s to bid on at auctions.seahawks.com with funds raised going to charity.

Twenty-two pairs of shoes the Seahawks wore as part of the NFL's annual 'My Cause, My Cleats' campaign are now available for 12s to bid on at auctions.seahawks.com, with proceeds going to the cause, charity, or community organization each Seahawk chose to represent.

The initiative allowed NFL players around the league a chance to showcase their off-the-field passions through unique designs on their on-the-field footwear. Seahawks players teamed up with local artists to customize their kicks to spread awareness for causes ranging from health-related issues like cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer's and dementia, to youth-related organizations like Special Olympics and Make-A-Wish.

"They do have the serious causes that they're fighting for and all that," Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said of this season's 'My Cause, My Cleats' campaign. "It's a good opportunity to make a statement that's followed up—it's not just the game, it's kind of the involvement with the groups and things that they are supporting. It's really good."
