The Seahawks activated guard Christian Haynes from injured reserve on Saturday, adding him to the 53-man roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Rams.

Center Jalen Sundell was placed on injured reserve to make room on the roster. Sundell, who exited last week's win over the Cardinals with a knee injury, will now have to miss four games before he is eligible to return. Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said earlier this week that the injury is not believed to be season ending and that the hope is Sundell will be able to return.

Additionally, the Seahawks elevated linebacker Patrick O'Connell from the practice squad for Sunday's game.

Haynes, who was competing at both guard and center during training camp, suffered a pectoral injury in camp that caused him to start the year on injured reserve. He, along with rookie guard Bryce Cabeldue, will give the Seahawks center depth behind Olu Oluwatimi.
