On Thursday night, Marshawn Lynch was playing the role of photographer, working the sidelines while shooting his former team's preseason opener against another of his former teams.

Two days later, Lynch was back with the team, taking in practice before recording a couple of episodes of his and fellow Seahawks Legend Mike Robinson's Get Got podcast.

Early in Saturday's practice, Lynch spent a while on the field talking with Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald, dispensing a bit of his unique Marshawn Lynch wisdom.

"It's the best, I'm glad he's here," Macdonald said of Lynch's visit. "The guys love him. He's got great advice for me, just bouncing ideas off him, he's got a great perspective. Love him."

Asked about that advice, Macdonald grinned and said, "I'll leave that between us, but it's wise, trust me."

One of the most beloved figures in Seahawks history and a member of the Seahawks Top 50 Players, Lynch has maintained a relationship with his former team through visits, including in-game sideline shoulder rubs for a new head coach, as well as his and Robinson's podcast. He has also stayed busy with a burgeoning acting career which in recent years has included appearances in movies such as 'The Pickup,' 'Love Hurts,' 'Eenie Meanie,' which comes out later this month, and 'Bottoms,' which earned him a nomination for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Breakthrough Performance.

The Seahawks returned to the practice field on Saturday, August 9, 2025 and were joined by Legend Marshawn Lynch.
