About 50,000 fans packed the stands and the field at Lumen Field on Wednesday for the Seahawks Lombardi trophy ceremony. The Seahawks' day started at Lumen Field with the ceremony with fans yelling "MVP" for Kenneth Walker III, who shook his head in disagreement, while the sound of confetti cannons and fireworks filled the air. The Seahawks walked out of their locker room with their family by their side and maybe a drink or cigar in hand and made their way to the stage that awaited them with the signage, "2025 World Champions" on it.

AJ Barner walked out of the locker room wearing a black cowboy hat, a fur coat and a shirt with a photo of Sam Darnold that said, "Here to lay down the hammer." Jaxon Smith-Njigba was wearing a Canadian tuxedo with a number 11 jersey underneath. Leonard Williams was wearing the WWE Super Bowl LX Championship belt. They all displayed the largest grins on their faces while greeting fans who waited for them on the field.

After the players reached the stage, head coach Mike Macdonald and president of football operations/general manager John Schneider said a few words before any players spoke and set the tone of what the day was going to hold.

"We set on this course two years ago," Macdonald said while holding the Vince Lombardi trophy. "Jody (Allen) and I, sitting in a hotel meeting room in Baltimore. This is the vision that we had for the Seahawks. We talk about 12 as one, look at all the 12s in this stadium right here and see how powerful this is with this football team. I got goosebumps just thinking about it. This is why we do what we do, to bring people together. That's why football is the best sport in the world. Having a football team is the best thing going."

Sam Darnold, Jarran Reed, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, AJ Barner, Leonard Williams, Devon Witherspoon, Ernest Jones IV and Cooper Kupp all took the stand to address the fans.

The words from Jones rang out inside of Lumen Field, and they're words many fans have heard from him before. But this time they meant a little bit more because the Seahawks finished the mission they set out on this offseason.

"And quite frankly if you got anything to say about my quarterback, you got anything to say about my defense, you got anything to say about my O-line, and you got anything to say about the city of Seattle, I got two words for you, f* you. We here to stay and we ain't going nowhere."

Jones' words were a call back to the same words he said in defense of Sam Darnold after Seattle's Week 11 loss to the Rams. After that loss, Jones was the first to come to Darnold's defense and it has sense been said that, that game was a shifting moment for the team. Jones also wore a shirt with Darnold on the front that displayed Darnold with a middle finger.

"Imma keep it a buck," Jones added. "I'm probably the last person they should have gave the mic to. But we finna turn up, man. First off, I wanna say shoutout Jody Allen. Shoutout to John Schneider for making this all possible. Shout out to coach Mike Macdonald for helping us get to this point. But also shout out to these bad-ass [expletive] who play this game the right way. Not only do we have the best defense in the world, we got the best team in the world."

When Witherspoon took the microphone, he joked, "We got a parade today, if y'all ain't know… I'm ready to start drinking. I don't know what else to say. We the best in the world. Go 12s."

And that pretty much summed up the sentiment from all of the players. They finished the job and they were ready to celebrate with the fans that meant the most to them.

The Seahawks finished their ceremony and prepared to get on the double decker buses that awaited them and their family to get ready to walk down the streets of downtown Seattle for the roughly one million people that lined the streets and were waiting to get a chance to see the Super Bowl LX Champions.
