In Sunday's game, Seattle's defense was able to keep the Atlanta Falcons out of the end zone for the entire game, in part because of takeaways by the Seahawks. In the second half of Sunday's game, Seattle's defense had a forced fumble they recovered that allowed the offense to get back on the field. DeMarcus Lawrence forced the fumble, and Devon Witherspoon recovered it. After the fumble, Seattle took over at their own 12-yard line and strung together a series of plays to get them into the end zone.

After a quiet first half for Sam Darnold who went nine of 15 for 67 yards, he and the offense found their spark and on this scoring drive, four different pass catchers had a reception. The very first play of the drive was a one-yard run by Kenneth Walker III. The next three plays were a seven-yard reception by AJ Barner, a six-yard catch by Rashid Shaheed and Cody White hauling in a reception for eight yards. Seattle turned back to its run game with an eight-yard rush by Walker. And then Darnold and Smith-Njigba showed off their ability for big plays with a 30-yard reception, and a 28-yard touchdown catch to finish off the drive.

The touchdown was one of two on the day for Smith-Njigba who finished with seven catches for 92 yards.

After the game, Darnold praised offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak for the adjustments made to be able to make more plays.

"Klint's been doing a great job ever since OTAs," Darnold said. "He's been doing a great job as our offensive coordinator. We have full trust in him to be able to get us in really good situations. Again, in the second half, to be able to make some of the adjustments that we made, that's a huge credit to not only Klint, but our entire offensive staff."

In the second half, Darnold went 11 for 15, threw for 182 yards and three touchdowns.

The Seahawks put together a dominant second half to defeat the Atlanta Falcons 37-9. Check out photos of the team's postgame celebration after earning their 10th win of the season.
